Mr. & Mrs. O'Ducky
After the success with advertising 'Bosomi Brand Diapers', Yosh's parents were elated to hear of how he, despite not being quite ready for potty training, would be having a second chance at being a twinkle twinkle little star.
Yosh, still quite content in the Bosomi diapers he had earned for being in the earlier advertisement, was taken aback upon seeing the odd diapers he was to wear for the TV commercial.
"Up you go!" Mr. O'Ducky said as he lifted Yosh into the air.
FWIP-SHWIP
"And on they go!" cheered Mrs. O'Ducky while sliding their son into the 'Frozen' Pull-Ups.
"Ready to go?" the proud father asked with a smile as he placed little Yosh over his shoulders.
"Whee!" the dino-duckling chirped. "Uppies with daddy!"
Mrs. O'Ducky, having recently laid the egg for Yosh's soon-to-be sibling, put their future hatchling into a special backpack that maintained nesting temperatures before slinging the diaper bag over her shoulders and heading for the family car.
***
"Hey there!" greeted a very exhuberant stork. "Looks like I'll be seeing you two twice today."
"Dr. Storkawits!" greeted Mr. O'Ducky as Yosh, having gone from shoulders to car seat and back to atop his father's shoulders, cutely quacked and made spittle bubbles.
"Shucks, Duckers," the OBGYN stated humbly. "You can just call me Mick. After all, in my family, there are two Dr. Storkawits' and, well, I prefer to specialize in birthing and early childhood counseling."
"Mick," Mrs. O'Ducky asked. "This egg is a lot larger than Yosh's. Should we be worried?"
"You need not worry, Mellony," he replied. "It's quite normal to have ovums of different sizes. In your case, as we'll discuss in tonight's parenting class, I'll share with you and the rest of the class what makes for a good egg to bring about an adorable brother, or sister, to your charming Yosh."
RING!
"Well," Mick stated with a salute. "Looks like it is time for Mick to deliver his lines!"
Yosh giggled at all the overexagerated motions of Mick's wings and feet. He was like one of the characters he would see in his cartoons before they ran into something and got those swirling stars over their heads.

"Okay!" a chubby hamster announced from a Director's Chair. "Places please! We don't want any accidents to ruin our product's image."
Mr. O'Ducky placed Yosh down onto the stage.
"Uppie!" quacked Yosh as he jumped up and reached for his father. "More uppie!"
"Could it be?" asked Mrs. O'Ducky as she spotted a familiar yellow Shih Tzu come onto the stage.
The bashful Shih-Tzu, who was wearing a 'New Leaf Pull-Up' that was pink with princess prints instead of like Yosh's with blue coloring and snowman prints, strolled onto the stage.
"I'm ready, Mr. Boulevard," she said with a twinkle in her eye.
"Look, son!" Mr. O'ducky eagerly stated as he repositioned Yosh to face the doggy.
"Is-bell!" the young boy chirped as he toddled towards one of his favorite live action TV stars. "Is you!"
Isabelle, known for her work on the children's television series, 'New Horizons Day care',, was bashful at her young fan waddling towards her. She was actually a young adult. However her size made her perfect for being a star in the show and even better to help illustrate the training pants brand that helped sponsor the show she and her friends starred in.
"Hey little guy!" she greeted with burning red cheeks. "Happy to meet you."
GLOMP
The dino-duck wrapped himself around the celebrity and cooed with delight.
RING!
"Hey you two!" cried the director. "We're shooting a diaper commercial. Not a perfume ad."
Isabelle gently moved the young fan away from her.
"Keep dry," she said gently while looking towards his Pull-Up. "Big boys get to play with the super-duper, Ziggy Xylaphone if they keep their training pants free from pee."
Yosh appeared confused as he fidgeted with his fingers and looked to the stage floor.
"Hey!" Isabelle added while taking hold of her young partner's hands. "How about I show you a special dance?"
Yosh's eyes widened and he was now totally focussedd on doing whatever the lovable doggy had to tell him.
***
"And that's a wrap!" cheered Oxnard while clapping his paws. "You certainly have a way with the kiddos, Isabelle."
Yosh was continuing to bow over-and-over in front of Isabelle. He was super proud of learning the 'new dance' and for all the encouragement he got from Mick, his parents, and one of his favorite television stars.
"How about we celebrate with some ice cream?" Mr. O'Ducky asked while placing his son upon his shoulders.
"Whee!" cheered Yosh as he clapped his hands together.
Mr. O'Ducky made a face as he worked to get his son under control.
Mrs. O'ducky giggled while feeling at the bottom of her son's training pant.
"Seems someone decided to melt the snowman," she stated. "Though the warmth could be good for that sore neck of yours, Duckers."
Mr. O'ducky blushed as they left the studio for the promised ice cream... and a much needed conversion from training pants back to diapers. Fortunately their efforts earned them a year's supply of 'New Leaf Boy Pull-Ups' that, hopefully, would come in handy more sooner than later.

I like the aspect of "nesting on the go" that anthro egg layers would likely need to do in a fast moving modern world. It makes sense that special backpacks and other implements would be invented to help those littles still in eggs eventually have a healthy hatching.
D'aww! *Snugs* Thanks, tacki!
The 'Nesting backpacks' were an idea I had way back in 200 when I first wrote 'The haposaurs'. It, to me, helps the parents stay on-the-go without having to be tethered to a nest. (The first episode of the show, "Birdz" shows how being stuck on a nest for many hours during a day can drive one to madness.)

I have seen you still making great posts, too! My new laptop is now fully operational and, with it, I can get through comments, posts, etc. at nearly 5x what I used to. No lag and clunkiness! Woop!
Though, to the point, I'm aiming for your works in my next blast through commissions. I'm quite excited and, today, enjoyed those works you have been featured in
landonbay's works. :)

Well, to be fair, I haven't been keeping up on posts like I used to. Though, truly, I feel this is going to change now that I have many things in order with the chaos being far more manageable. :)
Something else that is helpful is just reading the titles of your work and the lore you put into it. Those act as Visual Descriptions, too. (Best part of being a hatchling is a very bright and vivid imagination.)

*Crinklesnugs* Thank you, egg brother! Ash is a great artist and, soon, I look forward to having the rest of the 'Birdz' crew redone in their adorable style. (It has been well described to me and Ash is great pals with my other friend, Lanny. Plus, if I recall, you talk with Ash over on twitter, too!)

New laptop has taken the pain out of getting on to respond to posts and comments. So nice to 'enjoy' getting on my home laptop. It took a month, but dang is it great! (Refurb gaming laptop that cost only a bit more than the accessible Office software I needed.)
Be well and quack soon!
