So what did you think of the series overall after your binge?

Was a great watch. There's like 2 episodes I wasn't too fond of, like the one that is really uncomfortable to watch (the rotoscope-like human one), but otherwise had a pretty good time watching it and laughing at quite a few of the bits. XD

Sad they didn't get a second season when the post-credit of the final episode sets up for one.
Which seems to be a Gainax thing. Like the final episode of Gurren Lagann. The end of the wedding and the character sendoff kinda just became a downer-ending.

Tis how it is... I think they did it, with plans or at least hope for a second season. But who knows. Maybe someday down the line something will crop up. Whether in some form or another media. It's been known to happen. Series get comics, or novels to continue the tale and it's a good starting point for a continuation.

But yes, it was an amusing and fun series. If you haven't, I'd look into Helluva Boss as well. Not at all related but, I feel the humor and action fits in the same way they did it. You should enjoy that one as well. And it's currently on going.
