"Born on Yoshi Island via an anonymous source, Scott Koopa was certainly a mystery. None of the Yoshi’s knew who he was or where he came from. The only thing they know is that he is a Koopa and that one of them is going to have to look after them. For the first few months, one of the Yoshi’s looked after the young mischievous, teaching them and helping them learn into this strange world and even followed the steps and teamed up with Mario when he visited the island. All things went really well until one day, one of the Goonies bumped into Scott’s Yoshi, causing the young Scott to be trapped inside of a bubble and bawling his eyes out. A few seconds later, a group of Toadies suddenly flew by, popping the bubble of the young Koopa and taking him away towards… Bowser’s Castle!

The king of the Koopas himself never expected to have another child, one that he never knew existed until he was brought into the castle. Nevertheless, a son is a son and that son needed to be trained well. Kamek was tasked to train the young Koopa, Scott and gave him a special red wand to help him learn magic, but unknown to Magikoopa, it seemed that Scott already knew how to handle it as he mischievously regressed one of Bowser’s minions, laughing at it happened. Kamek was not only shocked but also impressed by this kid’s instant abilities, causing him to continue to train him into being a Koopaling.

To the old Magikoopa, Scott was such a huge joy. He was very fast with his training and knew a lot of stuff already at such a young age. Bowser, Bowser Jr and all of the other Koopalings, though shocked and surprised to learn that he originally teamed up and followed the footstep of their nemesis, were very impressed by him as well and all got along well with the young, caring Koopa. Bowser was also surprised that his new son also teamed up with Mario in the past, but was completely fine with it cause he knows in the future, Scott will be ready to face him. By the next year, Scott was officially put into the team, giving a new outfit, a haircut, a clown car and a new wand with a star, after the old one kept on to malfunction and accidentally regressing his siblings and even Bowser a few times.

Scott did his absolute best fitting in with the other Koopalings and doing what he is told, while still having plenty of fun in using his wand to regress everyone, excluding his family, for his own amusement and to even have a playdate with them. A long while later, using his wand, Scott was able to suddenly travel to all kinds of different places, universes, worlds and dimensions, all in a second, where he made many new friends and even gained an adoptive brother too, who he continues hang and work with til this day, even though they keep on regressing each other.

During one of his travels through the different worlds, he met Samus Aran during one of her missions. At first, they both had a bit of a rocky start with one another, they soon got along well with the Koopa even helping her with her missions as a companion, leading to them becoming best friends and even teaching Scott in how to use the Shell Canon with his Shell Armor. Though both of them are a great dynamic duo, Samus does look out for the Koopa, believing that he’s her "Cutie Shorty."

Though nowadays he’s actually older than what you originally think due to his physical, baby look which he keeps through his own regressing powers. Scott is a very smart, brave, determined, yet mischievous, Koopa who travels to different places to have his own kind of fun and continues to train hard with his pops, his grandpops and teacher Kamek, his siblings and his friends. For the young Koopa, he’s still on his next adventures, discovering new people and places as he wonders what he’s going to do next."

Just to note, this is my own headcanon of @PoisndartDragoon's Scott Koopa, for my own world called "Retcon". The backstory was written based on both my own imagining and from notes from Scott, himself.

Alright, so I'm doing some drawing again of other people's OCs and seeing how they fit into my own universe while trying to stick to both their personalities and a bit to their backstory. I recently got some interest of Scott's persona, and I will say, I absolutely love both their design and their character itself. I found them to be a very interesting bunch that it inspired me to put them into my world as I felt like they would fit perfectly, but I just needed to know their personality and backstory to try and help me further and so it sticks to how the creator represents them. Hearing that they travel to different worlds was very interesting and I love the fact their character does a bit of regression magic here and there, so I decided to make this.

I mainly based the designs on the "AoStH Baby Scott Koopa" for when Scott was first discovered/born and for his current look, in my world, I went for the Crusader attire that they had, as I thought it fitted them perfectly for my imagining. As for the wands, I've used both the old and current ones here, with the old being used for when he first came to the castle and the current "Star Wand" being used for his current look to show progression and advancement of his magic skills.
