This is little Daeva. His nest was destroyed by scavengers and he had to grow up on his own in the harsh post apocalyptic world. Sezi comes upon him in a pathetic state of health. She offers him food and water then leaves when he stays defensive. Daeva eats but then follows Sezi around the waste land. After months of leaving food and water for him as Sezi moves, Daeva comes to her rescue when a group of bandits capture her. Even though he is small, his fire turns whatever it touches to ashes almost immediately. From that point on Daeva stays close to Sezi and helps her in her fight to overthrow the corrupt overseers that are trying to force everyone into their cult.
