I'm always happy to lend a helping paw when I can. So when I heard the prep group was having equipment issues, I decided to offer assistance...
Unfortunately this was not quite what I had in mind. Seems the other technicians took "helping paw" a little to seriously. Now I'm stuck on the underside of the work bench as a stand in hotplate. Guess that's what I get for being named Bunson Burner. On the bright side I get a nice view of everyone's paws when they work at the bench.
This is a doodle I thought up while prepping reagents in the lab. The idea started as Bunson warming a bottle between his feet like a pawhug but evolved from there. I don't know if it will show up once it's posted due to file size, but I even have a little meat thermometer between my toes to gauge temperature.
