A health pack is an item featured in Daxter, Jak II, Jak 3, and The Lost Frontier. They are small cubes that contain potent amounts of green eco, healing Jak or Daxter and replenishing their hit points. They were found in crates in each game in which they appeared except Daxter, during which they were either found lying in wait, contained in vases and other containers, or dropped by metal bugs. Additionally, in Jak 3, they were also dropped by defeated enemies and could be found in vases, bags, and other containers.
The cubes are an invariably flat gray color, appearing to be made of metal, with neon green plus signs on each side of the cube except the bottom (although in Daxter, the plus sign was also absent from the top). Upon being absorbed, a trail of green eco particles will follow the user, much like the appearance of green eco absorption in The Precursor Legacy. However, in Daxter, a health pack would instead leave a small green cloud.
Health packs in Daxter were considerably small, even in proportion to Daxter's size. In Jak II and Jak 3, the health packs were a medium size compared to Jak. In The Lost Frontier, they were considerably larger than those in previous games.

Starting with the original Resident Evil, the player's health is shown in the inventory menu/status screen, and is represented by an electrocardiogram (ECG).
Depending on the condition of the character, the ECG will read the following:
Fine (green) - the character has none to minimal damage taken.
Caution (yellow) - the character has taken moderate damage, but health is still above half.
Caution (orange) - the character has taken significant damage, health is below half.
Danger (red) - the character has taken major damage and health is almost gone. In this state, one or two more hits will result in death.
From Resident Evil 2 and onward, health was indicated with body language from a player character. This was mostly done because health could only be seen in the pause menu. In "Fine" characters stand upright and can move smoothly. In the varying levels of "Caution" characters hold their sides and lower their heads slightly. In the Resident Evil remake and Resident Evil 0, yellow "Caution" kept them in their "Fine" pose. In "Danger" characters limp and move sluggishly.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard displays the player's health by the amount of blood splatters on screen as well as on the Genome Codex as ECG-style health gauge which the player character will have for specific sections of the game.
In the main game, players start with a maximum health value of 1000, and this can be increased in increments of 100 by using steroid collectables (making maximum health 1400). Players regenerate 10 health per second back up to 300 starting 10 seconds after being hit. During certain story events the player's health will be replenished.
Affects of health:
100% health or less - Codex will be green
60% health or less - Codex will be yellow
30% health or less - Codex will be red
299 health or less - Edge of screen glows red, movement speed is decrease,
Heal amounts:
Herbs - 200
First Aid Med - 500
Strong First Aid Med - 100%
Steroids - 100% and increases max health by 100

The First Aid Spray (救急スプレー kyūkyū supurē?) is a reoccurring Health Item found throughout the entire series, it brings the character to full health; but does not cure poison. Umbrella reached fame with one of its products. This particular type of product was able to heal wounds completely. A further factor that these cans have been used in Umbrella ads suggests that the product; "Cinatiropa" (found on the Sprays at the Spencer Mansion) may have been an Umbrella product. The line under "First Aid" says "Life Safe", something similar to other Umbrella marketing lines.
The spray's design has changed little over the entire course of the Resident Evil series. It's a silver spray can with a light green label.
Unlike other games in the series, the First Aid Spray will only cure 3000HP of a character's health (although it cures most of the characters completely, however some 'extra' characters possess more than 3000HP) and it will stop the spread of the virus -of any character- for about 30 seconds. It cannot cure the infection, however. Like previous games it also does nothing to stop Poison although it cures "Bleeding" status.
Starting from the Outbreak series onward, the First Aid Spray is able to heal multiple characters who stay close together by equipping it as a weapon and spraying it on allies. Leon starts the main game with a First Aid Spray in his inventory and Ada also starts with one in Assignment Ada and Separate Ways. Each character in The Mercenaries minigame starts with one in each of their inventories as well.
In Resident Evil 6, the First Aid Spray heals and restores all 6 blocks of health. Additionally, players can carry up to 3 cans of First Aid Spray at a time. It can revive a dying player without the help of a partner provided that the player has equipped it before being sent into dying state since in this state, it restricts any other actions except for crawling and shooting. It can also revive a partner without resuscitating or wasting your tablets.
In Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, there is a F. Aid Box that can carry up to three First Aid Sprays while only taking up a single item slot. In Easy Mode, Jill will begin the game with one in her inventory. In Hard Mode, two F. Aid Spray Boxes can be obtained by defeating Nemesis-T Type in optional battles - the first is dropped on his third defeat, while the second drops after his sixth defeat.
