Noire: The rain was coming down hard and heavy, like a hail of bullets from a tommy gun, as I walked into the artisan's guild that day.

Me: Huh? What? It was clear as day a second ago! And what are y-

Noire: I ignored the odd voices in my head, knowing it wasn't worth listening to. Then again, when are the voices ever worth a damn? They never told me anything I didn't already know.

Me: Hey, I'm not just a voice, I'm- oh, forget it...

Noire: So as I strolled in, eyeing up one lounge lizard that had gotten himself in a real tight pickle and a happy looking dish with her man across the way that didn't seem to notice at all, I found myself thinking about what a funny world we live in. How we can have the strangest things happen to us, and yet we fail to notice the details unless we go looking for it ourselves. I suppose that's where gals like me come in. Name's Noire, by the way, but you can call me Sticky Foot. And yeah, based on the scales and tail, you'd be correct to presume that I'm a kobold. Hope that don't rattle you none. I'm a private eye, and that means if any of youse is a punk, a mobster, or a shyster, you'd better be running for the hills, cause me and my pet bat, Luno, are gonna be on your tail to haul you back to the clink, put the screws on you, or pop a cap in your ass with good old Spooks here.

Me: ......umm, great, thanks. So, this is a girl that I recently made for a one shot...then I used her for a second one shot. Needless to say, I like her a lot and hope to use her again in the future. In game, she's an inquisitive rogue, which basically makes her a detective. I had been wanting to make a kobold character at some point, and while I was thinking of what class to make her, I got the idea to make an inquisitive rogue that acted like a film noir detective. And this, Sticky Foot was born, later given the name "Noire" just to hammer the point in further. XD Later, when I used her for the second one shot, the DM gave her an incredible bat friend that I first named Luna, then changed to be named Luno at the revelation that it was a male bat. XD She also ended up later getting a gun she named Spooks and a rapier she named Bigs named after the nicknames she gave her two allies in the second one shot. :3
