Myre's winter clothing, - or attire for the night, rather- is part if her nomadic lifestyle. A thick leather coat and a woolen crop-top to keep her back warm.
Though the most interesting part of this sketch is her hairstyle. I haven't changed anything in regards of the style of her design ot drawing techniques. Yet the way how her hair falls in this image makes her look almost like a different character.
This idea definitely calls for more style studies in regards of hairstyles. Hair can have such a crazy impact on the looks of a character.
It's like seeing a family member after a long time again and immediately notice their new hairstyle. Luckily, it's only the hair that can make vast changes. As long as the most important character aspects of a design are still there, hair can be one variable that can be changed. :)

You're right, it's surprising how a hairstyle, or even just a different position in this case, can change the perception we have of a character! From the thumbnail I even thought it was a commission of someone else's character.
