It's odd to me how 'taurs went out of style in the fandom. Used to see them everywhere.

Seems like they got supplanted by (or maybe conflated with?) Chakats, and when Chakats went out of style 'taurs went with them.

Based on what I've seen they either ended up on the 'kat side or they got absorbed into the general Multi-body-part crowd, but that may just be my sample sources.
