On Discord to celebrate some tough times ending, I held a small raffle where I would draw something for the winner, whatever style I felt like trying out...for free. I rarely do freebies but I'm pleased with how this one worked out. ShUwUba (You may know them as Asassinator on FAF, forgive spelling if I messed it up) won the drawing and what came of it was probably one of my favorite pieces ever.

This is of Aaron, their Shiba Inu assassin in more of a painterly style than I usually do. The background is just a couple images from google stacked on top of each other with some filters...I was getting tired of trying to make something back there and with free art sometimes you take shortcuts.

Point is, I've been trying to nail down a style like this for some time and haven't really had a reason to, so the raffle was a good chance to do so. There's a few teeny flaws but all in all I'm really happy with how it came out. I haven't been so pleased with a piece in a very long time. I'm generally happy with a lot of my pieces but this one just had me so excited and so giddy for so long~
