- Talking with Ghosts -
With the silence within you,
With the darkness around you,
The ghosts can talk with no fear,
hoping you can hear.
New, from scratch version of Talking with Ghosts, using some new equipment to better the sound.
Thanks *very* much to

Fantastic! Your stuff gets better all the time. And the new equipment sounds great... real! I have a rather picky ear when it comes to synthesized instruments and there were some times with your earlier stuff where I would pick it out. But now the instruments sound more natural and I'm just enjoying the beautiful music and not subconsciously listening for some instrument that doesn't sound 100% accurate.
Oh, you might get a kick out of this. While I was playing "Nautica-main theme" my roommate though it was a Hans Zimmer's score from the movie "The Rock"

oh wow! the fx in the beginning kept giving me chills! oh so very effective. but then the piano warms you at the same time... mmmmm
i do feel that the drums could be louder, with a deeper sound... i know that prolly screws up the "noise floor" taking up to much headroom youd rather use for those yummy choirs and phenominal piano.. but still MOAR DRUMBS!
that said, all the parts of the drums are easily heard thru the rich mix. just a little too "transparent" there for my taste, course, being a drummer and all, this statement is completely unemotional without a trace of bias
great stuffs Fox, you're an inspiration to us all

A great work once again, Fox. I like what you have done here. How this feels. With a title like this you could have easily gone into a horror genre with a Hitchcockian feel. Instead you have something more meaningful, deeper. They are ghosts in a more spiritual sense. Beings just beyond our world that are indeed trying to communicate with us with gentle, ethereal voices that we can easily miss if we do not listen for them. This has a lovely feel to it... thank you, Fox for allowing us into that world. }:=)
My buddy,
cball, was able to find it. The song is Watermark (The Voyage) by Enya.

Many elements of sound in this are more high-definition than the original. But I really like the first version, it has a more intense emotional quality to the central theme: The original brought chills down my spine and tears to my eyes. I know there have been times when I play something on my trumpet and the first time it comes out, it burns with character and originality. Yet when I try playing it again, it never quite ends up feeling the same.
What i imagine with this song:
"With that risky ritual she managed to immerse herself fully in the underworld realm, her determination surpassing the fear of being trapped. Upon arrival she had her mind flooded with billions of memories and feelings of thousands of lives[1], a wonderful overwhelming experience, so much that she almost couldn't focus on her main objective. Yet she somehow was getting incredibly close to understanding the meaning of everything, but it all suddenly went blank[2]. Soon she noticed a figure very distinguishable from the bright surrounding standing nearby, actually floating asleep, the spirit of... him. She called his name softly while getting closer[3], and his eyes opened, piercing her heart with a mix of feelings; how could she have forgotten him?"

Very immerse piece bud, love the way the song just grabs upon your soul and makes it calm. The sound-age was excellent and very moving, its both dark and light in the same sense. The way the song just sings to your own heart, like fire of a flame its very beautiful melody that just "moves you" Kinda like a sad yet happy revelation in a movie, its very uplifting in a sense, like your problems just melt away. The way the song peaks at certain points makes it all the better, and reason I love hearing your stuff.
-So, thank you for doing this piece, and to the artist they did a wonderful job capturing the song with the picture.

Damn, your music is amazing! I've never really listened to your stuff before, though I've seen your name here and there, but due to how busy I've been, I haven't had much time for music in the past few years. I heard this song in Cerberus' video, and just have to say Wow. I think I'm gonna have to clear some free time to browse your whole gallery now. :3
