Heyo, friendos!
Commission here for
York_Indayla of his multi-limbed, L'Arc.
I'm ashamed how long ago I sketched up this concept, but I love love LOVED it, and didn't fully flesh it out until I had the proper motivation. I'm glad I was patient with this and feel like it really paid off. Here we have L'Arc doing a little hunting for dinner. Of course it appears his prey is doing the same thing. Ring that dinner bell!
Enjoy!

I can just imagine were you to draw the following scene, it'd depict L'arc emerging from the ocean no worse for wear, hoisting a dismembered segment of the sea monsters tentacle like a hunter would carry a deer, casually proclaiming to his wife and child, "Supper's ready." as if this is a pedestrian way to forage for food...for him at least.
Some men in the past craved to die in the glory of battle. You drew L'arc as such a mythical specimen that he could be battling Cthulhu's moustache and consider dying to that an ignoble end.
So here's a few other tidbits I worshipped throughout:
- Water, be it rain, or beach, or underwater is like...(speechless)...you have made move and flow much more beautiful than 'dramatic winds' on romance novel covers ever could.
- I'm aware how blood appears underwater, and not only does it look more genuine than how artists do it digitally, if gives a good storytelling imagery who is actually winning despite being outmassed. You know, since sea creatures with tentacles tend to have the characteristics of regrouping limbs, L'arc could have an inexhaustible source of dinner were he to make 3-5 good punctures across and pull.
-GOD, even his feet and fingernails is drawing blood from the beast, I love it!

I really loved the idea of putting him underwater JUST so I could have his hair all flowy like that.
Y'know, as always, you just GET exactly what I put into these pieces for you. I think we make a good team, indeed.
As always, I'm pleased as punch that you like this. It was a blast to do!
