Autodesk Sketchbook
Trying a different technique for this sketchy painting. This isn't a fully rendered piece, just a technical experiment, but I think I like where it's going. Also Night in the Woods, yay!

I'm not a video/computer game player so the only way I know anything about them is if I watch an art stream and the artist is playing one at the time. I will admit that, from what I saw during the stream, it was cute, and a wee bit weird. (Gen also tends to read the lines that are "said" during the video game as well as make comments about the game, too.)
Oh, BTW, I was happy to see a new page of "Sunshine". That comic has gotten me hooked and I can hardly wait to see new pages. Keep up the fantastic work.

I'm trying to get them out a bit faster. 18 pages is too few for the amount of time. Bleh. I get nervous and uncomfortable when I work on it, because it's dealing with very personal issues, and I'm, by nature, a very closed person.
As for Night in the Woods, the 'game' is less skill/puzzle, so much as just deciding how Mae spends her days. Who she spends time with gives you new information, insights. It was very satisfying, even though it was far from a 'traditional' game.

Don't worry about how quickly you get pages out for Sunshine. Because it's so detailed, your art style takes time. I've got so many other comics that I read that my time will be spent in enjoying comics between pages but, I can guarantee you that as soon as a new page comes out, I read it as soon as I see it. Even if the story itself wasn't enjoyable (and believe me it is), your art style is enough to make me look forward to seeing every new page.
Oh, believe me, Coy, every time you receive a compliment on your abilities as an artist, you receive one more laurel. You, like all good artists and writers, use these compliments as a drive to improve because artists and writers are addicted to the most additive thing I can think of. Praise. The more you get, the more you want.
