Thanks scanner for murdering my first piece of 2018 art :'V y u do?
Anyways a quick little concept of my vampire character Kane, I need to draw him more. He is a sad boi. He's got a super sad backstory, and he's just an all round precious cinnamon roll that need protecting at ALL COSTS!
Had loads of fun drawing those birds, I think I am finally understanding what birds look like, rather than an egg with wings haha Als first time using coloured pencils as my line-art and I REALLY like the effect, will probably be doing more of that in the future c:

He has a sad backstory of killing his lover at the time when he tried to turn her into a vampire, he holds a lot of guilt over it </3 He also then tries to raise her back from the dead with his necromancer powers and that has some bad results ;_; he does have happier notes in his life though, which makes me feel a little better about giving him such a rough time haha
And yes I try to adjust the colour and light in photoshop, but sometimes if the starting scan of the image is too light/washed out, it can make it a little tricky to fix it
