"The clearest way into the universe is through a forest wilderness." - John Muir
I haven't painted my plant spirit character for such a long time, I wanted to see what it might look like with my current skills. It's still hiding in the bushes, but I will draw it out from there when I find the time. :D
This painting will also serve me the purpose of being transformed on a large banner for conventions. I will print it on 180 x 90 cm.
I'm glad that I'm almost through with all preparations for Eurofurence and that i can resume working on Haunter of Dreams full focused in a couple of days. :>
More updates regarding Eurofurence will follow in the next few days!

Very familiar to me. I feel like I've met a creature like this before. I look forward to seeing it more. Definitely got a sacred forest vibe~
And I have to say there's truth to what John Muir quote says there. I came back from a camping trip about a month ago and for a solid week I was still in this kind of "forest chill mode" so to speak. I hadn't really returned. you know? Things to think about, I suppose!

It's been proven that just 10 minutes in nature has an instant healing effect on your brain and body. Whenever you get overwhelmed by work, life, media and whatever stress you're exposed to on a daily basis, you can recharge your energy out in nature. I always do that whenever I feel that I have a lack of ideas or I need to come up with a clever solution for problems.
I miss camping trips so much. I'm a nocturnal person but when I'm out in nature, my biological clock resets to its natural rhythm: Go to bed when it's dark, wake up with first sunlight. You probably had that too. :)
