THE BACKGROUND STORY OF PAUL:
The childhood of Paul Webster still surrounded by mystery and unknown since he never talk about that. However Paul keeps some old photos in a drawer. In his past, Paul the Gator
was integrated very early in a regiment of the army which allowed him to forge his personality and his physical abilities. He was involved in a terrible battle named the Great Crocodile
War (that explains the GCW on his dog-tag ). The Great Crocodile War was a battle we can compare easily to the WWI (First World War). Crocodiles had entered into war against an
unknown enemy of which only the superiors knew the origin. The goal of the alligator regiments was to support the crocodile army and lead them to victory.Gators had a terrible fight
in trenches and death was everywhere. Paul surrounded by his fellows endured this horrible battle, days and nights. No one knew when it'll end. The days followed and Paul's friends
disappeared one after the other. The green gator kept a deep scar on his right arm, caused by the debris of mine explosion (this war scar is actually hidden under his black armband).
At the end of the GCW, Paul was the only one of his little soldier team who remained alive and some days only after the conflict, Paul decided to finally left the army since he judged his
"job was over". Life after the war was not so easy and the odd jobs succeeded one another to earn some money. Months after the war, during a medical visit (because Paul can't sleep
and feel really bad), doctors confirmed that Paul was touched by the Post-Traumatic stress disorder. A mental disorder that can develop after a person is exposed to a traumatic event.
Every time the Gator put clothes on him (except underpants/jockstrap/shorts/boxers/apron) he falls on the ground, scream cries and go in a corner of the room. Why ? Because in his
head he see the blood of his companions on his war clothes. You'll understand that's the main reason which made him decided to never put clothes on him anymore, except his black
armband to hide the big war scar, his dog tag (and underpants of course).
Years after during the crossing of a swamp between two cities, he found a former landmark named The Bayou Landing which had served a variety of things during the years, bar, war
hideout... etc. There was even an old plane (CVF4U Corsair) on the roof of the building. The place was now totally abandoned. Looking at this building which had passed through the
years but which despite his wounds had been able to remain standing, Paul decided to build his new house there and wanted to rebuild the place. To bring back all the glory of the past,
he restored the original appearance of the bar and even wanted to keep the plane on the roof, which gave a very original and personal appearance to the building. Finally after months of
hard work ''The Bayou Landing'' was ready to open again and receive new clients. The following months, the bar gradually gained the reputation it deserved, notably for all the tasty fresh
beers, its incredible decoration, its location in the middle of nature (great to clear his mind far from the city) and its particular gator bartender who was almost half naked all the time (and
sometimes totally naked). The general atmosphere in the bar was wonderful Lot of people came to change ideas, alone of with friends. It was possible to talk with Paul when he had some
free time between some services. The success of the bar allowed Paul to add improvements in The Bayou Landing but also diversify the drinks.
Since the green gator had this work in his own bar, Paul's army years were definitely far behind him and this new life full of hope simply make him really happy with all his friends around him.
Now days Paul is happy as a bartender even he is a bit eccentric sometimes, a bit crazy too, a sweet and gentle green gator who loves play to the "innocent" dude...even he is as you know
absolutely not, he also never explained why he didn't want to put more clothes on him (speaking of a Post-Traumatic stress disorder is not simple after all) he simply says:
"Hey, it's always hot here" =P

I try to do my best to tell a good story, each story has a "sad" part more since my gator character was in the army and war.
So it's hard to make happy story when it involves terrible war ^^" However even if Paul still have a PTSD mental disorder, it
doesn't mean he is a bad guy or a monster. He had a bad past and he's now more focused on presents days and future with
his friends =)

I didn't explained the Tattoo origin it's true. But don't worry it's not a mistake. It's just a symbol I put on all my characters like a © in a way if you prefer.
However, if we include the tattoo in the storyline maybe we can say it's linked to his childhood since we don't have information about this part of his life.

When you're involved in a war even if you're safe from it, the mental is far to be saved. However Paul managed to find "original" solutions and he's happy now =)

I suppose it's because of his little "crazy side", the better way to forget bad things is to share happiness with people and enjoying time with them!
...but don't be worried about him...Paul has also his grumpy times as everybody and as he comes from the army he is pretty strong at Self-defense

I love paul. He's a really amazing character. Dirty at times and yet still extremely kind and loving ^^. He's an awesome gator ^^.
You should draw him in his war clothes or maybe some war scenes. I would think that would be great for expanding his lore and making others see what he went through/making others more attached to him ^^

By the way, lot of talented artists already drew him ! Hikaze, Raccoon, Sein, Rikitsu, Kikuro...for example and many others ! They all did a great job and their drawings are all in my gallery ;) All of them put a different art style on him and that's what I wanted ! It's always intetesting to see your own character in the gifted hands of other talented people !

I didn't think about a rank in the army, for me he was just a simple random soldier with no particular rank like the others =)
So when he left the army he was a banal soldier who was decorated for his participation to the war. That's all ^^"

I saw your OC for the first time on a Discord server, after discovering it was a character, a friend gave me your Furaffinity account, and now I've finally been able to meet him, I must say I love OwO. Not only do I love his backstory, I love his personality and looks, and I think that, if you like to do roleplay, I would love to meet Paul more closely (And maybe more deeply ;P). I could say that I fell in love with your OC xD
