I disagree as well. I have several comics that I read entirely online and still purchased a physical copy just for the sake of owning it
Plus, like said above, an artist will typically sign it if they are there. I have a black and white one where they wrote in it, signed it, and partially colored a page for me even!
Also, it's always worth it to support an artist you love if you have the funds to do so, keeps them able to produce works for you to admire :3

Nope. If you really like the artist, or the comic you will pick one up. I just simply dont have the free dosh lying around right now. And I'd hate to have to explain why i have gay comics lying around if they are ever found. LOL

I feel for the unicorn, maybe he acts like an asshole bit he loses anyone he falls in love with. I wrote a story based on something similar a unicorn unable to have physical relationships with none virgins. Seen from Ciel's perspective he loses friends and lovers regularly, you develope a very thick skin when your life is loss.
It doesn't end at asexual relationship, it is asexual relationship that you have to hide, you can't introduce him to your friends or family. They would probably assume you were nuts. Ciel cannot ever be part of the world, he is Tantalus, surrounded ever by what he wants and is never able to have.

I can't hate Ciel like it seems a majority of readers do. While I don't condone his actions up until this point I do understand them.
I went back and re-read the first few pages and forgot that Ciel waited two months before taking things to the next (and apparently final) level with Frost. Two months. I don't know how long his previous relationships go for, but that seems like an awfully long time to devote to someone if you're the type of person to just screw'um and leave'um. Right?
Wouldn't that make you bitter? Wouldn't that turn you into a cold person out of necessity because you can NEVER have a lasting relationship that included being that intimate with someone? Giving someone yourself fully. I'm not saying it's impossible. But the fact of the matter is, Ciel can never have that as it stands with his nature. Or curse in this case.
My theory, is that he was planning on sleeping with Cinder so that neither he or Frost would see him any more. Out of sight, and eventually...out of mind. Cinder and Frost could then be together completely unhindered by Ciel's involvement cause he wouldn't "exist" anymore. How much does that suck for Ciel? If he does care for Frost (which looking back at the previous pages certainly seems so) he can NEVER be with him.
His only recourse is to completely delete himself from his lover and his lover's potentially new partner forever.
And, if he makes himself look like a bad guy, Ciel gives Frost the ammo necessary to cut him from his life and move on. It's a shitty way to do it, but it would certainly be effective. Also if Ciel acts this way he ensures Cinder will do what it takes, in this case sleep with him and achieve the goal of vanishing from Cinder's life too.
Again, it's a theory. But I can't fully blame Ciel for his actions looking at what has probably been a really shitty love life for him. Frost can (and I assume) will eventually move on. He'll be able to fall in love with someone and keep them. Ciel will never have that, can never allow himself to have that. And that sucks.

repeat Ciel's words, and then leave with Frost(even if he is in tears)... as if you lie, when the truth might come out, or if Frost has any guess that your lying it will only hurt him more(and make him mad at you too for lying to him) ... better to let the dick-a-corn be heard for the real dick-head that he is.
Let me guess tragic backstory "These wounds they will not heal" "How could it happen to me" "Crawling in my skin" yadda yadda... you know what mr. unicorn? I'll be your enema fairy for today and I have a mix of Lavender goodness to shove so far up your ass that it will clean all that emo eyeliner from your face.
You know, when you stop to think about it. The reason Mr. grumpycorn there is so nasty is well, think about it, he cannot be seen by non virgins. What happens when he falls in love? Exactly, he loses the ability to see the guy the second they bone. Now think about that for a second. That would drive ANYONE nuts. I don't condone what he did mind you, he is still a douche. But at least he has a bigger reason other then just a personality problem TO be a douche. Emotional baggage will do that as much as core personality. Characters like that you should pity more then hate. They aren't naturally "evil", they just become that way due to hardship.
I have to say, given the hiatus and all that, proper respect to you my dear. Not only have I thoroughly enjoyed watching this (and continuing to do so) but am loving how well you have created a comic that is enjoyable, funny and tugging at times that has not instantly jumped down the rabbit hole of endless smut. The characters I cant but help to love and some I love to hate, the relationship dynamic is fantastic.

I tip my fedora to you demi!! This comic is a masterpiece! I love how it doesn focus too much on the fact that they have super powers or how weird their world is and how each character is mature on their own way.

Maybe thats why he acts like this, i can imagine how his previous relationships ended up like, now he just feels indifferent for the suffering his condition causes to others, similar fo how his previous lovers must have done to him as well

Do you realize he could....you know, NOT FUCK? He probably just has virgin fetish, becouse trying to fuck your ex boyfriends friend is not something you do when you are heartbroken. If he wanted stable, loving, relationship he and his partner could just go celibate. Yes its not that easy to do but if its the only way to love than so be it.

Second: Ciel's family was super messed up. His parents were never talking to each other and only talked to him individually, living an almost broken marriage. They had no family friends aside from the virgin 90 year old lady with the cats at the other side of the road. Ciel knew nothing about his powers, until he had sex for the first time. He realized his BF could no longer see him and ran home to his folks for advice, all scared and weirded out by his new reality, only to find out that he could no longer see his parents and ask for help! He then tried it a few more times and realized that everytime he had sex with someone, he disappeared from their lives. And now he went insane, pained by the solitude and the lack of love and his purpose in life? Find young people, make them fall in love with him and hit them with the same pain he felt the first time.
Third: Honestly, Ciel's life is horror film material. Be lucky you see no Chuckies walking around.

Suddenly the unicorn wants to be seen and heard, but evidently can't make that happen. If Cinder wants some manner of revenge, all he has to do is refuse to relay the message, or relay a false one. I'd imagine that someone associated with fire is probably pretty keen on vengeance, and maybe Ciel would be driven to do whatever this make-Frost-forget thing is just to escape the indignity.
Or maybe that won't be needed at all. If Cinder can fake up something that gives Frost a sense of closure, then who needs magical amnesia?

Plot twist assumption: Ciel doesn't feel attached to anyone because he was dumped or made a fool of by the one he loved most. But that would be too easy and too cliché...
So what about Ciel was killed by his lover and became a hell touched who can only be seen by virgins.
Or unicorns are magical beings, even in this comic, with that pretty odd ability of not being able to be seen by non-virgins.

Hello i am a writer and i love the idea for this story, i would love to put your comic into my own words (Written Story) and share it with my friends (Only My Friends) and i feel really bad about doing it without your permission so i did the first chapter and felt really bad knowing i could potentially stealing (Ripping Off Your Idea) and i would appreciate it if i had your permission and if you tell me you don't wish for me to write the story i wont.
