No better way to start the day.
I imagine she's chatting with some stranger about something.
I tried to make the character appear feminine, since I don't paint many females, but it's really hard without hair or drawing really big boobs. Hopefully her hipsterish look doesn't hide the gender too much.

I um, am a little not happy with myself because I think that's more the way male characters can be a default, rather than because of any way she's designed. And again, I like the idea that a character can be female without having to really drive home all the stereotypical gender cues!
Going to throw much praise your way. You really got the little subtle details down to pass her as female but yet this is drawn in a realistic way leaving yourself asking. Truly top notch. I personally prefer this realistic touch rather then have long hair, long eyelashes and such tell the story it's a she.
Ahhhh, I just want to say that I love this piece ridiculously. I think someone else mentioned it recently but I agree and think it's pretty dang impressive just how much you've improved, it's only been a short period of time since I started watching you but your art has just gotten incredibly good! I absolutely love the softness of this piece and the atmosphere; and of course, I like your restraint in portraying her femininity. Everything is so mellow, and oh my gosh I dig that scarf so much. I really really like this piece, hahah.
On a side note, don't know if you'll see this, but... do you sell prints or originals? Not that-- Not that I want one or anything! I'm just curious!
Just kidding, I'm definitely interested. Tl;dr though, this is absolutely stellar, 10/10 work. Keep it up!

I do hope you look into prints sometime, if you ever get the chance to! I'm sure I and many other people would be more than happy to buy them. I only just realised you're likely doing these digital, which is why I was asking if you might be considering selling the original, hahah. The brushstrokes look so soft, though!
I'd love to get a commission from you someday, but in the meantime it's always great to see new work from you! Hope you have a nice day.

Judging from the scarf and long sleeves, I'm guessing it's cold outside, and a coffee shop is a great place to warm up. I understand what you mean about the gender being subtle. She strikes me as a tomboy, and a very pretty one at that. Great job with the lighting, too. I'd be honored to share a table with this foxy lady...or lady foxy...anytime. :)
Wow, saw you on the /r/Furry subreddit today and had never heard of you. When I first saw the pic I thought it was a new Kenket or Hax pic. Then I saw the name TruNorth and wondered if Kenket made a new account team with someone. But nope, you're not connected to her at all, it's all your art. And that's mind blowing! Please take it as one of the best compliments because I honestly think Kenket is one of the best furry artists, and I was convinced this was something by her. You've definitely got a new fan! Keep up the unbelievable work!
