It took me far too long to come up with something to say, and I realized that it was more to do with the fact that art like this makes me incredibly speechless. The details in this image could keep you staring for hours, just to come back and appreciate another small angle that you might not have seen the first time. It gives the image that much more character and believability especially when matched up with fantastic tone and color value. It makes me happy to see images that can be more than just another simple visual, but instead build a setting, a tone and practically tell a story in themselves. :D
Reminds me of Celty from Durarara!! (ex: http://vegasseven.com/files/2016/01/Durarara.jpg)
Thanks Blaze. Its just a snippet of lyrics from a favorite song of mine who's video inspired the subject matter.

Hello! Would you have a little time to answer a few questions about your experience painting this motorcycle? I'm trying to better understand the challenges artists face when dealing with bikes, and maybe write a short "anatomy" guide of sorts.
Amazing job on the dim lighting, btw!

This is a very evocative piece. The lighting, especially around the face, and how it contrasts with the grays of the evening in the background, really give it a sense of presence. You can feel her weight sitting on the seat, a sense of motion in how she's recently sat up, settling the bike into an idle, only to remove her helmet and notice the viewer--perhaps choosing only then, in that moment, to acknowledge that she has. It all captures a mood, but that mood is gray and mysterious, much like the muted colors it takes shape from. Who is she looking at? What is she thinking?
The ever so slight quirk in that eyebrow seems to be asking the same of the viewer.
