A really fun commission to do for
honkykat thank you for giving me this chance to render one of my faaaaaavorite video game characters. (it's so painfully obvious, isnt it?)

At this point in time, I think this is one of the best pictures of this critter that I have seen; this image is firmly planted on my PC desktop. One tiny little detail that I like, is the little notch taken out of the ear: It gives the creature a bit of character; maybe it got into a toss-up in the past?
I have to ask... would you consider doing an anthropomorphic version of it? I'm not begging for art, but if you were interested, I'd happily commission you in the future.

I think it'd be fun to try and make an anthro Flammie, :D I'll have to put it on my mental todo list since Im currently closed for work till the new year. And thanks! This image is pretty small but I did add a few little details like the notch in his ear or the slightly different back legs haha. Thanks for noticing!
Thanks for noticing me noticing;) I suppose I saw it due to the fact that I am also an artist, and a flammie fanboy.
Heh, its a he then, eh? It always seems to be a bit tricky to know if the creature is male or female... which I think just adds to its cuteness.
Also, you said that you said the back legs slightly different? I thought it was just foreshortening, but is it that you made one leg a bit larger than the other? I hear that most creatures aren't perfectly symmetrical, so maybe that's it... It would be an amazing level of detail to consider if that's the case.
Ahem, rambling aside, I thought of something else I would like to suggest, or commission when you are clear. (gotta +watch you so I don't miss my chance or forget)
You almost always see flammie in one of two states: either sitting on its back legs, or flying. I am interested in seeing some of its other forms of locomotion, such as walking, running, swimming, climbing, foraging for food, etc. I suspect that is because it might look sillier on the ground than in the air. I also think it would just add to its adorable-factor.
So yeah... I have about a year to see if I want to commission an anthro flammie, or a regular mobile one (or save the cash for both). Take care until then, and good luck for the new year;)
(I am notorious for being talky... heh, sorry.)
