I F-ing LOVE Godzilla (Gojira) and I have all of them classic Toho Monster movies and I have over 30 films from VHS, Laserdisc and DVD of all the classic Godzilla movies and even the new US shitty version and yesterday I had a crazy idea of what if Godzilla along with Rodan and Mothra just got sick and tired and smashing citys and just wanted to BAIL. well I just gone and done that in this comic it took me a whole day from pencil to color, enjoy.

Didn't this actually happen in one movie? I remember Mothra and another monster actually asking Godzilla why he keeps wreaking havoc, to which the King of the Monsters just replies that humanity doesn't leave him much choice. They keep intruding on his territory and forcing his hand.

Was just reviewing this work and came across your comment. I believe the film your thinking of is "Ghidorah, The Three Headed Monster" from the Showa series. Mothra was mediating between Godzilla and Rodan to fight against Ghidorah. After so many refusals, Mothra decided to go out on her own. The rest, was Kaiju fan history!
Godzilla has grown tired of doing the same old thing over and over again for years now, prompting him to decide that he didn't want to do it anymore. Mothra and Rodan agreed with him, and thusly the three monsters instead chose to move on from their old lives and have some fun for a change.
