Shouldn't it be a furry per population measurement? Otherwise it doesn't really tell much and might as well be a population map.

When you want to know where the furries are, I don't think furries per capita is the best way to go.

I could make a version showing number of furs vs total population per county. When this was first started, the numbers were much lower (lack of exposure) and it was just nice to see if there were any furs in your county at all.

There's 6 of us in Mt. Pleasant, and yet I can't find anyone to visit (I need time out of the house!! >_<) and I rarely hear of anything local going on. -_(\

Right! I was born in Flint, but my mom moved us here forever and a half ago...and I just never left. >_<

With the fact I don't drink OR gamble (neither does hubby), there's a whole lot of staying home and playing video games being done. lol

Nice use of GIS software, I think I made one once trying to show mullet density. Interesting the UP numbers, seem to correlate to counties with college towns. I miss Michigan, hope your all living life at 11.

Where did you get the data, I may sneak into the GIS lab here and make a Montana map.

I've been doing this for years, just filling in the colors by hand on an old pixel outline map. I actually have pretty good open-source GIS mapping software… but don't use it for this. XD

Oh sweet, the manual method. Honestly one I still prefer too and use for D and D maps to date. Who needs a $30,000 GeoMedia, ISSG platform with stereoscope glasses, to make urban feature data for a fake city in the clouds inhabited by halflings.
