You get the white knighting journals, calling every member of the site 'rape supporters' because they are not leaving the site due to Zaush being an admin. It's pathetic.

I see this kind of shit on FA on a regular basis, but I've never seen it on Weasyl before, that's what I was getting at (I think? old comment...)

But I saw someone else here suggest a heavy overlap between Weasyl users and Tumbler/SJW crazies? I have an account on Weasyl to watch people (for backup), but I'm not really super active there, so I haven't seen much of the community in action at all, but now a few people have mentioned they're wacky. Oh well.

After one of these mass 'migrations' I see a few people start talking on Weasyl, usually mentioning how they were always right and that FA is rubbish etc, the usual stuff.

I demand that FA make a change so that I can fave this comment, dammit!

FA has the top sales for furry digital artwork, and the most active artist and commissioners :) Besides this is my home, through crazy, and drama, and love this is where I belong .

I have never personally had a problem with Weasly other than it's not very popular my uploads would stay on the font page for a week, and don't get me wrong...wooot..But at the same time there is no traffic for sales. I think all sites have good and bad points, just like the people who join everyone is different it all about how we handle situations that make us stand out.

While this is painfully, hilariously accurate, I honestly wish FA was a better run site.

I do too. Seriously, I'd like an update. I don't think it's been updated since 2006-7 or so.
And it can take a long time for pages to load.

But I honestly really dislike Weasyl's layout, especially for the inbox. They really went for form over function.

I dunno, I kinda dig Weasyl, despite it being a bit less friendly for writers than FA is. I haven't put much work into reposting my stuff for that reason.

On the bright side, FA doesnt make my internet connection crash like deviantart does. Like seriously, if I browse dA too much I have to restart my router because that stupid thing can't handle the amount of traffic coming from dA.

IMVU bought FA back in January. Now people think everything is going to hell again. The admins had to post a clarification journal via Fender to clear up the paranoia. Bitches are still paranoid. lol

Actually this cycle is false, I know quite a few, decent artists that left and never came back.

A few, but many more make accounts.
And decent? Yeah, decent. But not phenomenal. They all have the exact same 3edgy5me art style too anyway.

All a matter of opinion the only reason I am still on FA is for the same reason quite a few are, as there are folks they know wanting to stick it out here, no other reason.

I honestly don't know either, and FA's lack of transparency and possible slander from the opposition doesn't help matters either.
From what I can gather, it's going to be like Disney and Pixar's relationship. While Pixar is technically under the Disney umbrella, they have tons of autonomy and their own CEO.

I honestly don't know if they're actively trying to hide it from the users so much as they're so lazy and incompetent that it took them two months to finally say that FA had a new owner.
I know I can be very lazy like that, so I could totally imagine it being sheer incompetence and laziness rather than malicious intent.
