Man you and your massive chapters. Glad we finally have Trikal wash out, I don't think he was evil or malicious but he certainly treated Cody like a pet or a toy. Cody's certainly better off with Yrishan. Still if nothing else Trikal might have accidentally given Dylan the keys to a breakthrough now that it seems he fully accepts Kira as a protector.

Trikil reacted too badly to the power in the relationship. Coupled with how Cody is apparently such a pushover, it blinded him to how his charge was actually reacting to him. You're right, he wasn't evil, but someone messed up in the guardian screening and now things went wrong.

But yes, Dylan may finally let her in...

Big read, but enjoyed every bit of it. Thought there might be some trouble on the horizon, but I was expecting it to happen in town--although they were expecting that (but not at the base) so it's probably it didn't happen there. And aww, Kira finally gets to nuzzle her partner, or at least she got a nose-hug out of him. the diverse spread of other species was neat, and the story of Kira's training fur was adorable. One has to wonder just how far Lupari "affections" go.

The nose-hug was great to write. Finally... I got some proper affection between the two! It only took 90,000 words.

Now for Lupari affections... DTF, man, you and your suggestive comments. XD

Great chapter Hetzer! It's nice to see Dylan open up more to Kira. Though I imagine Cody's going to be traumatized from his guardian's actions.

I got a hunch I know who the unmentioned race is, and I see more nightmares for Dylan on the way.

The rodent thing... you sir, are correct. I should have called them mice and such. The whole rodent thing needs another look at.

Glad you appreciate how I'm portraying PTSD. It's a horrible thing that needs to be taken seriously. Macro furry story does not trump that at all, in my eyes.

The paperwork thing was great fun to write out. I really enjoy Mitchell. The man holds a special place with me.

The resolution of the Trikil conflict is something that worries me. But, I think I can handle it. Hopefully. XD

Cody may... he also may turn inward to unfamiliar giants. Poor fellow. :(

Its pure speculation but I get the feeling that Trikil wasn't a bad fox, his Falashai friends were, and were sizing up and grooming Cody for abduction as many alien races desire humans as pets. They are small, cute, low maintenance, and most importantly: easy to smuggle.
