I just painted it
Sooo- this is costumeing for VTM, for Skin of the Adder. I am happier with how the mask turned out than I am with the cowel but on the whole it'll come together fine with some makeup.

Had this.. idea while looking at this.
I wonder if you could maybe draw out a generously large, smooth-lined scale pattern (like, large curves intersecting) and just sew some slightly darker thread along those lines, to get the scaling look, that might blend better with the mask.
Just a thought though. I do like the airbrushing you've done with this, however! :)

Holy moly, this is incredible! It's the most sleek snake design I've ever seen! The air brushing really pulls it off, wow. I just love how close to the face you played this and the jawlessness, the actor can now wear fangs or something but the facial expression and movement and heat-loss will be amazing. Damn.
