This is the Obsidian Plumpkin! Plumpkins are also known as ambling loaf dragons and love to be pampered. They are expert at finding the warmest spot in a house and will lie there for hours soaking up the heat.

The Obsidian plumpkin likes to think of himself as a romantic goth. He likes watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, listening to The Cure and hanging around in graveyards reciting poetry. Black roses are his favourite snack, and Beetlejuice is his favourite film.

I made this Plumpkin to test the body pattern and construction time, and as such he is being offered at a small discount! If you would like a more colourful or completely customised Plumpkin you can find their custom listing in my Etsy shop.

☁ - Plumpkins have been sculpted by me in Super Sculpey, a polymer clay you can bake in a conventional oven. I then made a mould of the original sculpture in rubber so I could cast resin copies. Resin is more durable than polymer clay, and is also cheaper, passing savings onto you!
☁ - Their wings, feet, heads and horns are all cast from resin and then painted with acrylics by me.
☁ - They have wire armatures so they can be gently repositioned into cute poses!
☁ - Their bodies are made from cuddlesoft, a dense, short fake fur traditionally used for making baby blankets - it's that soft!
☁ - They are sewn by me on my little sewing machine, and their manes are polyester fake fur.
☁ - Plumpkins are 100% VEGAN FRIENDLY! That's right! No animal products have been used making these guys.
☁ - They measure (approximately) 7" tall and 10" from nose to tail-tip.

You will get an embossed certificate of authenticity, a plumpkin postcard and a sweet gift, all in a special magnetic lidded box with a plumpkins stamp! These guys are highly collectable works of art!
