After a brutal war for the planet Earth, the battered human race has been accepted into an interstellar coalition that would ensure their protection as a member species. As with all new member species, a program of integration would go into effect to bridge the cultural gap. However, this period will be very unique, as the average human was only ankle high to the average alien.
Dylan was not what Kira hoped for. The human medic saw a unique spin on the war that left him emotionally scarred and afraid. How could Kira deal with the little alien when she scared him simply by existing?

Looks like Kira's already grown somewhat protective of her charge, what with how she was mindful to keep Yir an arm's length away from Dylan. Did like how you rationalized and explained all the emotional turbulence whirling around Dylan's head as well. He knows in his head it's stupid to feel that abject terror in Kira's presence, but his instincts and memories rather forgotten make that a violent mental tug of war. Nicely done as per usual!
Fantastic chapter, as I'm sure everyone expected. I'm very curious to see where you go with this, and I still absolutely love the way you write both the interaction between the different sizes and the thought processes Dylan seems to go through. It's something I often have trouble with, trying to decide how much or what to say regarding internal thoughts, yet you seem to perfectly nail the right amount--enough to get a serious feeling for what he's going through but not so much that a reader wouldn't be able to project their own additions to the emotions that you've written. Not sure if that makes complete sense, since I'm often shit with describing my more complex thoughts--but regardless, I enjoyed this an incredible amount. Can't wait for the next!
I can't stop thinking about how this story will continue, I keep thinking of dozens of way it can branch to and it's driving me nuts!
Please do finish the third part at once!
No, seriously, I'm loving this story. Last time something caught my attention like this was years ago. Keep up the good job. :3

I wonder how the aliens would react about there being dinosaurs on our planet (at one point). Also it wouldn't surprise me to later find out that there are factories back on tera-firma making anti-giant weapons. As that seems like something that people would do when confronted with a stronger opponent. I'm loving this series as well as the prelude series to this! Great work so far!
