Vampires burn by sunlight - zombies just fall dead coarpses till the next night.
Vampires need regular blood supply - zombies only want brains, but can starve for months.
Such a humans, vampires can be killed easily. Zombies can't be killed - you have to damage nerve center (or spine... or cut head off, or penetrate it), so the brain can't control the body.
