OK, so I guess it's time to post a peek at my commission progress.

Her understanding of anatomy has been a key instrument in my girl's creation.

I'm keeping this beautiful creature's details pretty quiet for now, but be assured that a huge amount of detail is involved.
Also note that she's a long way from finished. The high detail work isn't started yet, and the coloration and fur come before that. In fact, only the icon of her hands is from the most recent model.

She's intended to be a very realistic, functional model, and is nearing the stage where she will be retopologized for future animation.
