As someone who's been off and online for the past several years, I've watched people come and go over politics. It absolutely disgusts me how people can treat other people over something political. In the country of America everyone has the right to their own voice and independent way of thinking. To publicly shame and push away someone for a political point of view is childish and silly. Sadly, that's happen to me way to often regarding artists and friends I've worked with and gained as friends online.

When someone has valid and personal reasoning behind their point of view, I would at least respect people to respect them for being a person and seeing something through their point of view. Not to be harassed, attacked, blocked, and destroy any sort of relationship that has been established.


I am absolutely disgusted by the journals and comments by https://www.furaffinity.net/user/faust1173/ for all the negativity and almost mobbish way this journal came across. Many of the commenters are friends of mine and people who I respected in the fur affinity community. Even the author themselves I had enjoyed working with and getting commissions for over 5 years. Now I'm blocked and ghosted for having my own opinion. What happened to freedom of expression and speech? Only when one side can get their way. That's not right.....


I'll say this right now, I personally don't care about politics anymore, I voted for who I thought would help bring change to the economy, the boarder crisis, the taxes on the middle class, the way our veterans and elderly are treated, and our public image as a country. If you don't like it, that's your right too. But don't call me a nazi, a racist, a homophobe, or a bigot for having my own opinion.

If you really knew what was going on in someone's life maybe people wouldn't be so cruel or jump the gun.

That being said with the exception of a few close friends who I can trust, I think I'll be cutting communication both here and on DA. The whole ordeal of the online web attacking each other and the woke nonsense just really annoys and disrupts whatever is going on. I don't feel like I can trust people or expressing myself anymore without ridicule or hatred towards me.
