Ahoy! We’re Rainbow Ark, and very happy to be here on FurAffinity!
Rainbow Ark is a group formed by furries, for furries and began as a LiveJournal back in February 2004.
We’re dedicated to the idea that Christians and LGBT people can coexist in the fandom and elsewhere. Many times, the LGBT and the Christian are one and the same, and we’re a safe zone for all who identify as such, and their friends.
Recently a majority of our membership voted to change our designation from progressive Christian to one which is purposefully interfaith. Everyone is equally welcome to fully participate regardless of religion or lack of religious affiliation.
Rainbow Ark FA is co-hosted by
NEXRAD, 
Dineegla, 
Threetails, and 
JarrellWoods.
We welcome all types of discussion. We just ask that you be respectful of your fellow commenters.

Jarrell here, I just found out from reading a couple of journals here that Dineegla died earlier this week. While I'd never met him in person, we had numerous conversations, was always kind to me, and he was one of the admin of Rainbow Ark FA. I'm of course very saddened by the news, though I know he wasn't in the best health of late, but he'd sprung back from so much including the loss of his husband a couple of years ago. My heart goes out to his family and his many friends during this difficult time.
