In a moment of hopelessness you fall to your knees, covered in tattered dirty rags . Like everyone you had been cursed with a fairy tale destiny, but found yourself floundering to find and fulfill the role designated to you by the Mother Goddess Haranu. The cold clutches of despair grasp at your mind. Fear prickles your skin.
You cannot escape your destiny.
No one can escape their destiny.
Your mind becomes clouded as you dread the punishment for failing to complete your fairy tale. She hungers for entertainment. The Mother Goddess punishes any and all that defy her will, contorting them into mindless flesh eating monsters. As darkness cocoons your thoughts, you lose sight of the very path in front of you.
It isn’t until the gentle touch of filigree embellished fingertips hit your shoulder that you jolt back to your harsh reality. A rabbit-esque creature with feathered ears and a single horn above the center of their brown area gazes down at you. The figure glitters, with delicate swirls of filigree and their multitone eyes and hair.
A small yet warm smile curls the edges of their delicate snout, just barely wrinkling the area above their nose. They exude an aura that makes you feel as if there’s a shred of hope to escape the punishment of your curse.
As they extend a hand to you, you reach out to take it and find the tingling sensation of magic enveloping your entire form. The shreds of clothing barely clinging to your body transform into layers of brocade, embroidered velvet, and glitter coated cloth. A crystal diadem rests atop your head, and your hair weaves into an elegant style to match.
They need not utter a single word. You know in that moment that by the grace of Plotweavers that dreams do come true.
