Hey there.
I'm Azure (or Nova) and I've been on FA for about twelve years now. This is my second account after moving from an old dead lurker account that I never used for anything. I'm not an artist but I am interested in writing and 3D animation. I'm a performance mechanic and I love cars and all kinds of racing. I've identified myself as part of the furry community since ~2010.

Looking for tips and advice regarding learning to draw.
Howdy y'all.
So, like the title says, I am interested in learning art. I know this is not an overnight kinda thing, and I expect this to take years of learning, practice, and application (as with all skills.)
So far, I have a Huion Kamvas Pro 16 and an IPad with the Apple Pencil, so I think I'm pretty much good on actual implements/tools.
For software, I'm using Krita on PC. (Which I'm still figuring out.)
So! I've been watching some YouTube tutorials and whatnot on how to draw basic shapes and structures as they pertain to the body. (Head, torso, legs, etc.)
What I'm really wanting to ask everyone is essentially: What helped you learn? Are there any online resources you would recommend? What kind of first steps would you recommend to a true beginner?
The biggest things that I'm trying to learn right now are:
A better understanding of muscular anatomy, line control, and anthro facial structure.
