The one advantage of being an anonymous little fish in the big pond that is FA (or the whole of the furry fandom for that matter) is that you can pretty much disappear and no one will notice.

Many don't disappear entirely per se, but are doing something that is puzzling to many people. They change their handle, fursona, screen name, or whatever, and for whatever reason.

So, why am I boring you two (my total number of watchers^^) with this? 'Cuz I'm one of those losers that will be changing his handle.

Nothing major has occurred to prompt me to do this (like being hacked), but lately I've been feeling a little hypocritical concerning my handle. The introduction on my user page states I don't consider myself a furry, yet my nick suggests otherwise. I know this doesn't really matter to anyone, but for some reason, it matters to me.

I've opened a new account on FA under the name "NightShift," which I believe will better represent the real life me. I'm unsure of the timing to the change-over to the new account, but it will be before the end of the year.
