Hi, I'm Marminade - I do the occasional drawing as a hobby and in January 2013 I inadvertently created my own canine species, which I finally named as the "Marmino" four years later.
Marminoes are colourful toonish fox-like canines with rather round heads, dark markings all across their arms, band markings around their ankles, and very humanoid-looking hands and feet but with three fingers and a thumb on each hand, and four toes on each foot. Often there are only subtle differences between each Marmino, from their eyebrows to the shape of their nose, whilst others look a little more noticeably different in terms of shapes and sizes.
In terms of their colours, the colours of a Marmino's fur are often bright or into the pastel shades (as these show up best with dark outlines), but some have darker or muted shades. Marminoes' inner ears are fluffier and so are a lighter shade of their main colour (their palms, soles and nails also follow this rule as they lack fur there) with their nose being a bright shade of a neighbouring colour to their main colour. Plus their eye colour is a pastel colour that complements their main colour.
Aside from Marminoes, my other drawings explore many different themes and designs from the wide range of art styles that I'm inspired by.
Most of my drawings are digitally coloured scans of pencil drawings; a lot of these are portraits of the various original named characters that I enjoy designing. :)
Thank you for your favourites and watches; I greatly appreciate it and it motivates me! :)
