While I never really considered myself a part of the furry community (more like an enthusiast but not a participant) I'm saddened to hear about Dragoneer's passing. I didn't know 'em personally but I can't deny that FA was definitely a nexus for artists of this particular niche for a very long time. Because I don't know him well, I don't know about his past drama or actions perceived as mistakes by various communities. This makes it easy for me to misspeak in regards to his character but from the outpouring of support and love this guy has accrued over these past several hours makes me think that he is, at the very least, something of a decent guy who was really passionate about his site. At least, that's what I'll remember him as.

And for the people who come forward with nothing but joy and/or grim satisfaction in his passing... I'm not going to try and convince you otherwise since I don't know your circumstances or the full story with this guy but any of that stuff is not welcome around here.
