More life stuff, really sad this time
My husband of almost ten years died the morning of 7 December, this past Monday. He had been suffering from pancreatitis and complications from that since August, but his death was pretty unexpected because he seemed to be improving really well. I was with him when he took his last breath, and I think he had achieved some measure of peace. I believe he also did not experience his death - he died in his sleep, so to speak.
He and I were working on building a house, and I'll still be moving into that house with our cats, but it will feel a lot emptier without him. He was so looking forward to this new adventure.
We were very deeply in love. I've never met someone who had a bigger heart than him, and I loved (and love) him every bit as much as he loved me. I'm absolutely devastated by his death, and a lot of others are too - he made a big difference in a surprising number of people's lives.
I do want to make some art to commemorate him, and also get back to the porn and such in the new year. I just need some time. Thank you for your continued patience and adoration.

It's an icy cold universe. The only fire that gives any warmth is our love for one another.
