Im not the best at making journals or keeping people posted, so here’s an attempt from me to update everyone on some stuff.

I recently took a trip to Washington state, still here actually, but had planned on doing a lot of art over a month long stay with a friend up here. But 3 days after I arrived my trusty and reliable 10 year old cintiq finally threw in the towel and went to the great beyond. I’m super sentimental, so having my drawing tablet that I had thousands of hours with die, does hurt a bit. RIP my friend. And while I tried to repair her, she’s a goner. Getting another tablet took a long time in the mail, but I finally got a new cintiq only to also have issues with the new one. But that is now resolved thanks to some generous help from  seigi. I also only had a old iPad to draw on as back up and it wasn’t too much fun to do so as the ipad would heat up quite a lot after an hour of drawing, making it unpleasant to keep drawing on. So that’s why there hasn’t been much art from me lately and no real progress on commissions.

But, during the time my tablet was broke, I attempted to treat my trip as a much needed vacation rather than a work trip since balancing burn out has been tough as I am a workaholic and stress myself working too much. which due to burn out makes me less productive. So it’s been a nice breather being up here and a good mental reset for my health.

I’ll be heading back on Tuesday to go home, but that’s a 3 day drive from Washington and with the holiday weekend next week I won’t get started back on art until Monday the 5th.

I’m also super thankful to my patrons who continue to support me despite my slow progress this month, I was at least able to give y’all a stunning lucario gal in the final moments of my old cintiq before it’s death.

I’ve also been doing a lot of headshot practice as well, will be opening headshot commissions when I get back as well. So look forward to that after the Fourth of July.

Anyways, I hope my writing isn’t too bad for y’all, my expertise is with making pictures not words XD

I’ll also try to interact more with comments and the fandom as a whole, I’m super shy and tend to just appreciate comments in silence as I do not often know what to say or respond. I read them all and love what y’all say.
