My gallery consists of a lot of art either won or commissioned from other artists. Where possible, these submissions will link back to the same piece in the actual artist's gallery. If you favorite the piece in my gallery and not theirs, I will comment on your profile asking you comment on the artist's submission with a link to it. I will check, though I'll only go about a page back before giving up and commenting anyway, so please save me the trouble and comment on the original artist's piece and not mine. Thank you.

Evolution of Pokémon Legends Battling

The thought occurs that the boss battles in Pokémon Legends Arceus being you dodging and throwing stuff at it until it agrees to a turn-based battle for a moment before going back to trying to maul you, personally, is from them failing to adequately create real-time battles like in Pokémon Legends Z-A. In Legends Arceus, you could move around during battle and your Pokémon would try to keep you out of the line of fire (attacks could still damage you if you were too close) and even yell at you if you kept trying to get in the crossfire. Positioning your Pokémon in Z-A looks pretty similar so far, so I bet that's what happened.
