So, been a minute. (Looks at last journal) Ah... several minutes.

Getting medicated for my depression helped a lot, but the ADD shit is still here, crippling my ability to focus on things I want to focus on. I'm working on trying to get that addressed.

I may be starting a new job soon; interview went well and it seems like a cool place. Just waiting to hear back from them now. 300 applicants being sorted by 2 people is bound to take a bit, even if not all of them show up for an interview.

As far as FA goes, I do have another story on the way. Got a commissioned piece to go with it and I'm just waiting to be able to post them together. But that being said brings me to why I'm posting this journal: this story is gonna be my last post on this website.

Now, nobody panic; I'm still gonna write stuff and post it for people to keep reading. I just... don't like FA as a format anymore. This website still feels like its existing in the early 2000s, even with as much as they've done to try to update it. And I don't wanna seem ungrateful for the platform that I've had here; I realized recently that I've got more followers than I would've ever hoped to have when I started posting back in high school. Must say I'm pleasantly surprised, and you all have my deepest thanks! I hope that you'll continue to follow my work moving forward!

Now that said, where is "forward" from here? Well, I'm starting a Twitter account dedicated to my written works. I'll be posting links to the google docs of my works there, and at some point I'll be setting up an archive for folks to be able to download my things as PDFs. I'll also be posting regularly on Pillowfort, for those of you that already have one, but I decided to make the Twitter account as well because A) Twitter is free and Pillowfort currently is either pay-to-access or invite-only, and B) Twitter seems to be the predominant fall-back platform for a lot of other artists. If Pillowfort decides to go under, I'll still have other places to post my stoof.

So after this next story/commissioned art piece goes live here on FA (which should be soon?) I won't be posting any more commissioned art or stories here. I'll make journals here as announcements with links to the other places I'll be posting my stuff, but from there on out nothing will be available directly from FA.

Thanks for the ride, FA. It ain't been bad, but I'm gonna try for greener pastures.
