While I love how polycules form accidentally and how each member of it is adorable around each other, it still hurts when you realize that your friend group is a polycule and that you’re essentially a third wheel that tends to accidentally interfere in their plans and cause the “well they are a friend so we should include them when we can” feeling in them. I dunno, I guess it’s just a problem with myself and makes me wonder if I just can’t really be a part of those polycules because the friend group just wants a regular old boring friend…but having my boyfriend and girlfriend does make that pain vanish entirely.
