It is SO hard to make a living as an artist in the world today.
With rent in a very reasonable area being something like 1,000. Food for a month, 150. Car notes, 300. Car insurance, health insurance, phone and internet costs, and taxes..
If I sell $2,000 per month in art, I'll be making $24,000 per year; very very very below the poverty line, and that's gross before taxes.
To make even $2,000 per month, I'll need to sell about 10 of my full Tier-3 Ref sheets at current cost each month. So, I'll need to finish one ref sheet every 3-4 days (including weekends) just to live well below poverty.
And that's assuming I have enough customers willing to order them.
So, how can I make this work? I can either drastically increase my prices, drastically decrease my quality, or try to figure out alternatives.
So, to try to make something work, I've opened a Patreon.
Thank you so much for looking, and please consider checking it out or giving me a social media boost.
