Horses and Ungulates of the world art list (spots open)
Posted 8 years agoI've been drawing horses and ungulates for some time now, and I realise there are still some types/breeds I haven't drawn yet and really want to draw.
The goal is to have this list completed by the end of next year (yay 2017)
These can either be ponyplay/harness themed, or just pinup style, (fancy markings pref nude or little clothing to show off the uniqueness)
Also keep an eye out for any YCH that pop up that you can claim for this list.
Species and colour sections can be combined to cross off.

The Artwork
Image is hand sketched, hand inked, scanned and digitally coloured.
Size is A4.
Base price is for a single character.
Prices are listed on the commissions tab.
A large printable file and a smaller internet friendly file is then sent (via e-mail) of the completed image, you have permission to re-post your completed commission, as long as citing artist and link back to where to find me.
Process
Queues are done in Monthly batches and are worked on all at once for each phase!
Each phase gets sent to client for approval
Phases are
Sketch
Inks
Flat colour
Shading
A selection of sketches gets e-mailed to choose from for a pose, then after confirmation, refining the Sketch.
(Exception is a YCH where a pose is pre-made)
Refined Sketch is then confirmed by client
Then on to Inks which are done by hand on actual paper (The Ink is then scanned and cleaned up, no update on this stage)
Next is flat colours is done, then sent for approval by client (then and no longer viewed till completed shading)
Too much to-and-fro throws off my process and productivity.
Turnover for a simple one char piece is approx 1 month (with exception to; weekends, public holidays, and the crazy that is Christmas)
Longer or more detailed images take longer (2-3 months Depending on complexity/number of characters),
so simpler pieces may get finished earlier as a break from the more complex ones.
Payment
Payment is in usd, paypal only.
Sketch starts after receipt of payment (no Refunds after sketch is accepted and okayed to Inking stage)
No more partial payments or payment plans accepted due to people ghosting and not completing payments
By commissioning me you understand I will pick the colors of your character from your ref for the flats. However environment, effects, and STYLE can effect the final colors on a shaded piece.
