Giving Wise a try (PayPal alternative)
Posted 2 months agoHi everybody! How's it been? π
Out of every possible virtual wallet services out there I've never found a PayPal alternative that actually has full support in Brazil, otherwise I would have made one long ago just to be on the safe side. Apparently tho, out of the newer options in the market Revolut and Wise are two names that frequently pops up on that matter. I'm still doing my research on the first one, but [after an odyssey of selfies and document photos from my phone ^^; ] I've just made a Wise account for me, convinced they'd fit my local bank transfering needs since they're advertising on Brazilian YouTube IP adresses, and in fact they allowed me to register one of my local bank accounts.
The main reason I'm looking for alternative virtual wallet services, gotta tell, is because some friends who wanted to commission me not too long ago are not using or not allowed to use PayPal anymore, so for any future cases like these Wise may come in handy (maybe Revolut too after I get enough info about it), although I still haven't concluded any transaction on it so far, so anyone who booked a commission here who uses Wise and want to make an initial experiment, or even, anyone who's not currently waiting for one but uses Wise and is up to try it, feel free to send me a message so we can discuss details and give it a try. π
Oh and yeah... tho it started as a wee joke, I would indeed reserve a couple of slots for Steam or eShop gift cards but they're region blocked in Brazil.π
Well, take care you guys! See ya! π€

Here's to a better 2025!
Posted 2 months agoMeaning, if your past year was good enough may the new year be even better! And if it was not... I hope you can at least raise that bar. πΎπ₯πππ
Personally I cannot think on a year I had that can top 2024. It kicked off with my long awaited experience of spending three months studying and living abroad finally taking off - long story short, i was nearly giving up on it much thanks to an online travel agency and the local airport screwing me up on my departure back in 2023, causing me a huge financial loss and sending me in quite a hopeless, melancholic state for the rest of the year. So yeah, it was truly cathartic to see it finally happening on what was going to be my last attempt.
And what to say, I simply felt in love with England. I was now taking part of that society and witnessing that culture I could only see and dream with in front of the telly. That realization alone got me pretty hyped up, to the point of tear in joy, and then overcoming the language barrier (read: the British accents I didn't think I could get used to) sumed up to make the most of my experience - inside and outside classes - and have the best Q1 I ever had in life, hands down. And as if the experience itself wasn't great enough, it also helped me a lot to research ways to finally consolidate my dream of living on a first world country, which will all be put into practice this year (starting this week).π€π€π€
Unexpectedly, the same year ended with a trip to spend holiday festivities (both KRIMA and New Year's Eve) a state away, with distant relatives we can barely meet up with in a three year range, and what's more, two of them being cousins I haven't met in 23 years or so! It was lots of fun in the sun with top notch food and long, chill afternoon chitchat sessions. Quite the cherry to crown the top of a year that could have gone pretty wrong. π
Anyway, I really wish you all can have milestone moments to make your year, hopefully your whole life, more pleasant and inspirational to recharge your energy and hopes to face all obstacles life may have ahead, because even if any progress or even the turning point of your life comes this year there's always the next one. πAs I stated on my new year resolution: if I cannot finally leave Brazil, I shall at least make the most of it while I'm still here. π
More art coming very soon! Peace out! Take care!

DRAWING COMMISSIONS REOPENED
Posted 3 months agoTook me a while to decide and reopen drawing commissions. Long story short, I'm spending holidays away from home, hosted in a cousin's house with family members living states away that I haven't seen in a while, so indeed we'll spend quality time there. Looking very forward to it!π₯³ However... first, it'll be two whole weeks there, and such cousin and her family will still be most of the time busy with their jobs and other daily duties excluding weekends, Xmas and New Year's Eve, leaving enough time for me and other guests to be on our own; second, last time I lived there (between December 2018 and March 2019) it was a hella boring "made-for-countrypeople" town, so not mcuh to see or do during spare time. π
So yeah, plenty of opportunity for me to keep working on drawings and animations with the good ol' cheap HP + Kamvas Pro 12 combo (got quite an experience on it during those three months at Englandπ€). Wasn't sure one and a half months ago, when I'd definitely have reopened them in case I'd be home for Xmas and RΓ©veillon (Brazilian Portuguese for New Years' Eveππ), but now it seems the logical move.
Anyhoo... six slots available, $50 a piece (+ additional $5 depending on each level of details, such as extra frames, drawn backgrounds, more than three characters etc.), won't do minors, political content, scat/coprophilia or hate art. Payments via PayPal only for the time beingunless Steam or GOG Galaxy wallets are accepting international transfers by this stage of the game that I'm not aware ofπ.
And needless to say, first come first served, yeah? So any interests please send a private message - it's easier, a lot more practical to keep track of them, as I give top priority to read and reply them.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYBODY! PEACE OUT! π₯³ππβ¨ππ

NEW ADOPTABLES OUT (2nd batch - October '24)
Posted 5 months agohttps://www.furaffinity.net/view/58468232/
Some key info for this adoptables system:
- $20 for individual OCs or one OC belonging to a duo or trio, $30 for a whole duo or trio. Payments via PayPal only.
- First come, first served, the early bird gets the worm etc. This won't be an auction, the first client in conditions to send the payment right away takes it. Fur Affinity users please send a PM; those who can contact me via Discord can just DM there, as I don't make a priority out of pinging me. In any of the cases, the time of the offer will be compared to use as priority criterion.
- No limit per client, those who have enough (and such "peculiar" taste) to take as many of them as they want, no restrictions.
- Refs are still the old ones from the dA gallery - I decided to draw a fresh, updated drawing of an OC only if they're actually taken.
- Not all OCs here are colored, for those I'll make sure to provide links of drawings with color examples at the description.
- Again, this won't be the last of them old OCs for adoption. A third (and possibly final) batch will be arranged in November.
Thank you all of those interested for the support and patronage! π I hope you enjoy your new OCs, and I'll do my best to bring the brand new, free of charge refs as soon as possible.π

Next batch of adoptables THIS MONDAY
Posted 5 months agoHeya everybody! π€ Those interested in purchasing other old OCs as adoptables, stick around. In the next 30 hours (from the time this journal is published) the new batch of adoptables will be uploaded here. ;) Procedures will be pretty much the same as from last batch, so let me serve a delicious copypasta:
- There'll be both female and male, anthros and humans (tho very few of them) alike for the take, so there'll be quite a selection that might attend many tastes. ;)
- Individual adoptables will cost USD 20 each; duos or trios will be USD 30, but it is possible to adopt only one character at individual price if you prefer to.
- No adopting limit, anyone interested can bag as much as they can or want to pay for.
- I'll present them on their original appearance, and after an OC is claimed I'll provide a brand-new, straight-from-the-drawing-board full body art of the adopted OC(s).
- And as always: FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED! ;)
Worth nothing, there are still some OCs left from the first batch just in case.
Oh and on a last unrelated note, your appreciation for "future Sho" (or "26-YO Sho" if you prefer) haven't gone unnoticed. π Pretty glad to see you guys liked it, I'll make sure to retribute by putting some pics up with her in a near future. π Take care peeps! Cheers!

Updates around next adoptibles and drawing comms
Posted 5 months agoHello everyone, and happy spooky month! π§ββοΈπ»ππΉπ½π·ππ¦
Passing by to talk about two particular matters: first is the new batch of adoptibles, that I planned to bring this month. While it should be today, time flew by faster than I thought, focused too much on some daily affairs and in the end I still didn't even sorted the next lineup of old unused OCs from my dA to sell.
BUT! Now that this week look "less foggy in the horizon", I intend to post them next monday, the 14th. Same deal as last time - same prices, first come, first served, payments via PayPal or Ko-Fi etc. - so those interested keep an eye, I'll also be gradually posting a new journal here for updates regarding it. ;)
Second matter is regarding the next opening for drawing commissions: I'm not sure when that'll be. ^^; Right now I'm still working on two last pieces (one being a comic page, which takes a lot of time), and apart from that I got myself plenty of animated commissions to take care of... even because i forgot I still have three YCHs to do and ended up opening more slots. π¬ Brainfart moment, I admit. Anyhoo, that said, I'm not be reopening drawing commissions anytime soon, in order to properly work on those animations but also spend more time having fun with personal art without a guilty feel. π
That's all for now I guess. See ya, stay sassy everybody! π

Might turn old unused OCs into adoptables - who's in?
Posted 6 months agoEver since I decided to get back to the drawing board a few years ago, there was one old habit I sure couldn't shake off: creating OCs. What to do, I'm always getting inspired to do so... :D However, my concepts to do them have been changed a lot in such mean time and I took quite a different approach building those, such as involving species I never had interest before, real or folkloric. At the same time, when I didn't adapt old OCs to my new art style I revamped them, when not partially a complete overhaul.
Anyway, going straight to the point: I won't have use for many of the OCs seen in my DeviantArt gallery, so... why not making adoptables out of them?
Before that tho, I'm doing a research to see how much interest, what would be a good price (for what I've seen around here I'm feeling okay about the 15-20 USD range), and of course, which OCs to list - there's a dozen that already comes to mind, and all of those who makes such list shall have a proper updated portrait at the occasion.
That's all for now, all in all I hope you're all doing well! Take care, bye! π

^^; Hate to admit... but nearly zero progress last week
Posted 6 months agoTitle says it all, barely advanced with my ongoing commissions in the past week.
Long story short, I've been slacking on my exercises lately while spending longer than I should sitting in front of the drawing board and PC, and my lumbar paid the price for it. ^^; It began last wednesday and only now it seems to be showing any signs of relief, but yep... in this mean time I've spent a lot less time in production (be it commissions or home office duty) than i normally do. To top it off the medicines I've been taking to ease the pain had been sucking my energy and mood to do anything but couch-potato myself into whatever Prime Video, Max and Disney+ has to offer.π
Hopefully this week production will be back to normal pace, my back feels a lot better despite not being 100% yet but enough to cope with. So, if you're a client who already paid for your comm and still waiting, hang in there a bit more, it's coming. π For the ones who still on the queue I plead for your patience and comprehension. π¬
Peace out and take care! π

Commissions closed, estimated reopening time
Posted a year agoSorry I didn't communicate that earlier, but slost have been closed for a week now. ^^; Thanks for all the interest and support, everybody! π
Now, as I mentioned in a previous journal, I'm an Atlantic Ocean away from home. :D Being hosted at a typical suburban British house in a room shared with another student with a small table posed as a challenge to keep working on drawings and animations, not to tell instead of using a juiced desktop PC I've got to purchase an average laptop my current savings allowed - resumedly, my structure to produce art is far more different, somewhat limited in terms of practicality. Add that to the fact that now I have to follow a shifting weekly schedule that reduced my amount of spare time in weekdays, in contrast to the "advantages" of a home office schedule.
Oddly and gladly, this has been proven to be causing the opposite effect. I've been maybe twice as more productive than at the comfort of my house, finishing drawings and commissions in a shorter time than I usually do, like finishing three to four drawings and a short animation in a fortnight time, not to tell the personal art I usually do after a sell to keep burnout away. :D Althought, yeah, being away from home in one of the coolest cities one of the coolest countries on the planet has to offer truly inspires one to give their best everyday. ;p
That said, there are chances to reopen slots as soon as two to three weeks from now, something that at first sounded unlikely when I first got this "emergency laptop" and analyzed my current structure. If any unforeseen circumstances come along, the other estimation would be mid-April, when I'm supposed to return home.
That's all for now, take care, everybody! Also thanks for all the comments and favourites, they're much appreciated! ;)

That's all for now, take care, everybody! Also thanks for all the comments and favourites, they're much appreciated! ;)

Well, i do like to be beside the seaside
Posted a year agoCheers mateys! How you're all doing?
My first FA journal ever is to announce that right now I'm in a city where you can find the above title all around: Brighton and Hove, or simply Brighton, UK.
It's kinda surreal that my long lasting plan of a study exchange is finally underway, and I couldn't be more fascinated about this city. Did a good bunch of walking, photo shooting and video recording already in these nearly 48 hours I've been here, specially around the Palace Pier area.
Anyway, I've got no laptop nor access to a PC, so I don't know when I'll be able to produce new material for the next thirteen weeks I'll spend here - which doesn't mean I won't keep posting art. ;)
There still plenty of stashed drawings and animations from the past four years or so that had been shared only on my Pixiv or the Discord groups I've been ever since, so there still a good bunch of stuff to upload here.
Also, just an unrelated note, I'm sorry I haven't been reaching every comment on my stuff, which I appreciate very much by the way, but also feel free to hit my inbox if you may, I'm always looking to reply to private messages as soon as I can. ;)
Well, that's all for now, see ya, take care!
