Woooooooo! Had another great year at BLFC! Soooooooo many friends and generally awesome people! Did some bowling and gaming and partying!

I wish i'd had more time to hang with everyone, ill just have to try harder next time.

That was a great con, might have been my best FC in years.

One great moment was getting Demiglenn to interact with the actors and characters from the British TV series Mongrels.



They were really awesome guys!

And my immense gratitude to  omegapaws for making Demiglenn a reality!!

Long and short is i had a blast and i loved getting to party with so many awesome friends! Cant wait for BLFC now!

Woooooooooo! Im gonna be headed off to San Diego Comic Con for the weekend! Its time to grab some mad loots!

Yep! Its about that time again! The one excuse i have to force myself to be productive. At the start of May begins the event where i try to draw a demiglenn pic everyday, maybe it'll just be a sketch, or a full piece of Demiglenn doin wtf ever comes to mind at the time :O

yea yea i have yet to actually nail all 30 days but its the attempt that counts XD

Also this year im going to try to do a daily stream of each of these, i gotta start tryin to get my streaming thing configured properly. So we'll just have to wait and see.

Okay so as we all know, April 1st around here is rife with fake thumbnails, hoax journals, and other lukewarm gags to get a cheap laugh at folks expense. Today i have learned the tasty fruit that grows the day after April LOOOOOOLs day. I am getting the biggest laughs reading the journals of ppl who really didnt plan out their april fools gags very well XD

WAW! My mind was BLOWN last night! I expected Rango to be just a bit visually unique but that movie ended up being WAY above and beyond my expectations! My buddy Basil said it best "Spaghetti-western meets Choen Brothers as seen through the acid tinted eyes of Hunter S. Thompson" XD

It is SO not a kids movie. So much of the humor that was way over the heads of most kids, and sooooooooo many visually unique looking characters. Unlike a lot of the common popular CGI movies of the past few years, there were seriously little to no copy/paste, palette swapped, characters. And the CGI in general was some of the best i've possibly EVER seen, so many of the characters looked real and yet stylized.

Seriously, if you were on the fence about this movie, check it out!

Wooooooooo! Good times! Didnt get to do as much drawing as i wanted to but i got to meet a TON of new people, and party with all my regular buds! One of the highlights of the con was the Ice Skating rink right next to th hotel, and subsequently the Karaoke fun the following night. I think i got quite a bit of drinkin in and just had a damn good time over all.

It was a blast to see so many folks, and i got a good reminder of why i do cons. now i REALLY need to make an effort to do AC this year too.

It had a TON of DS games in it as well as many other personal effects. The hotel has been pretty useless in helping him locate the whereabouts of this item. We were hoping maybe it just got mixed in with someone elses stuff and got noticed around check-out time. If anyone has any clues, let us know, i imagine you'll be handsomely rewarded if it turns up.

...Oh hay! First off Happy NOOD YUR!! My first new years resolution is to not be invisible on chat progs anymore, i have only myself to blame for the horrendous lack of worthwhile conversation in my online life XD


Anyway YES It is time for FurCon again. Last year was way better than most of us locals anticipated, the hotel was amazing, and the location was 10x better than the previous one. Tons of great eatery's within walking distance as well as a grocery store. So much better than the shitty Dennys and McBungles, next to the old place!

I have no merch to sell this year as last year was pathetically unproductive (curse a thriving videogame industry!) BUT I will be available for sketchbook commissions if you can find me. Ill usually be in the artist lounge unless its still woefully tiny like last year.

Also im going to attempt to hop on the Stream Train when i get back and try to do regular streamings in hopes of getting my art mojo going again.

Last night i found a game called Epic Dungeon on XBLA in the Indie games section. Its pretty neat if you like old school dungeon crawlers. I've been starving for something that could fill in the gap that beating Shiren The Wanderer has left in my gaming soul and so far this game is a reasonable facsimile.

Unlike alot of the indie games on Xbox live arcade, it looks like someone put some real effort into the design of Epic Dungeon. Good, simple item management, funny little intros for each character, also humorous little hidden encounters reminiscent of stuff from old text based rpgs. lots of different weapons and armor that actually shows up as being a different item when in use on your little 8 bit guy.

For the most part Indie games tend to go totally unnoticed on XBLA, so if you liked stuff like Fatal Labyrinth (genesis), Rogue-like games, or any of the more recent mystery dungeon style games, you'll totally dig this game. Its simple and just a fun time killer.

God its already that time of the year again. Cold as hell, trees are gettin nekkid, rainy and ya just wanna stay in bed wrapped up in a blanket playin some videogames......

Last year i tried to do the family thing and go see some relatives and all i got was a good strong reminder of why i avoid most of my extended family. I'd much rather hang out with some of my best buds who also dont have any plans today and just chill out. So thats what im gonna do!

Welp its that time again! Gonna skip out on the local Halloween parties this year and just have my buds over for crappy movie watchin.
Since Halloween is on sunday theirs a lot of confusion about when to throw a proper party, some folks are partying today cos most of us cant get drunk on sunday and then work on monday, same goes for general late night mayhem. I had a lot of fun just marathoning bad movies and chillin with my runnin crew, handing out candy last year.

I KNOW some of these are awful movies, but each and every one of em have at least ONE element of some kind or another that i find entertaining enough to toss on every once in a while.

WOW Why didnt anyone tell me Bayonetta was SO FUCKIN AWESOME!? Tons of references to other games, great play mechanics, epic bosses, strong difficulty curve, great sense of humor, lots of variety with combos/weapons, and it reminds me a lot of God Hand. I forget, but i think its made by the same guy who did God Hand and Okami and stuff, theirs definitely Okami references in it. Been grinding the hell out of that game.


Also i donno wtf ppl were talkin bout with Children of Mana, i thought it was a GREAT game, its the one game in the series that actually felt like the SNES one (i believe its a remake of the first game anyway). Its got multiplayer, you get Flammie right away, fully animated cut scenes, AND you can play as a big fat bunny Nicolo. Hes got such a great personality too XD I havent tried starting over with a new character yet to see what the differences in dialogue are though.

Dead Rising 2: Case Zero! Currently beating the hell out of this fun little bit of DLC in preparation for the sequel to the game that made me buy a 360 in the first place XD. Gonna try to get all the achievements for it to eat up the gap between now and the end of the month when DR2 is in full swing.

Also it occurred to me they've made TWO mario galaxies on the Wii but no Pikmin 3! I need something as clever and fun as Pikmin but as brutal as Shiren the Wanderer XD

Okay i know im late to this train but DAMN i love this art prog! it does about 80% of the things i've been using Potatoshop for, and more than a few of those things it does BETTER! The Pressure Sensitivity is SO much more accurate and solid in this program. I love being able to select levels with just a click of the pen.

My only regrets are that it doesnt have a gradient tool, Circle Tool, Text Tool, or the ability to set the pen to "behind" D: Most of those i can live with out. But no Text? C'mon thats been standard since MSpaint! But otherwise i am LOVING this prog, prepare to see some STUFF in the future XD
