As for how I'm doing? To restate what was written in "Against the Sun" I have succeeded in moving out of California. It was long trip! And I got really sick at various different points of the way there, but I recently got to experience snow a couple days ago with some adorable photos of me playing in it! Rent is paid, and now I gotta do comms for rent money instead because nobody is hiring locally right now. Not that I mind, I just yknow, prefer having a social job. As for Furry Conventions, now that those are accessible to me? I'll let you know which ones I'll be attending! Anyway go read Innovation and Stability if you haven't yet! It'll tell you more on how I'm doing, and my future plans for this year! BYE-!

Posted 8 months agoHi Everybody! :>It's me, the funny guy who runs this account and the only one who will because I am not a joint venture I am Kevin and I make the art here. Just wanted to make this journal as a little status update and maybe even a little advert for my own Discord (looks at discord link) mostly because the server is public, and always open to new faces so long as you're a grown adult with a sense of humility and compassion wowowo. Before I get into how I'm doing though I would like to first say something pretty awesome and then something controversial to the rest of this journal so bear with me here because I'm not going to be that gentle-
Sanji's line reads in the 4kids dub sound like shit but the script is pretty charming all things considered.So that was the pretty awesome take I have, now that you've read something dumb hopefully that will have softened the blow of this for you! I am changing my commission rates in its entirety again! I have realized with the next topic after this one that I can't really value my art so low anymore, as much as I don't want to do this, I've also realized the utility of money cannot be ignored especially when I'm still living in California. So when the time comes after I finish these last few commissions I have left on my list that I keep manually updated, I will come out with a new, more refined commissions sheet showing off examples of each tier of artwork I will be selling, their prices, additional features, and whatever else. This does not affect the prices of the current to-do list though. So until the prices have been updated I'm charging them at the current rate I have listed down. The biggest change will probably be that I am no longer going to be doing my 10 USD for 2 Sketches deal, it will now be (most likely) 20 USD for 2 Sketches! (25usd if I feel like that's still too low, but I mean come on a $40 Value for half price you gotta love that--) My TOS of you NOT paying me until the artwork is done will still remain in effect permanently, don't worry about that. I don't want your money until I finish my work!
Relevant to this, I am leaving... California. That's right, I'm moving out come October of this year, this state sucks and the last of my reasons for living in my current residence has been scrubbed clean of everything I love about it. Which is something not worth getting into on a public journal but just know Joy4Tea is sad now. But yeah I'm moving out of here to the dreaded state of Ohio- now see if you flinched at that because your first thought was "Ohio?! That's where all the spooky cryptids live!" then that means you're still a minor and I want you to grow the fuck up Ohio memes are overrated as balls and have overhyped the state beyond reason. I guarantee nobody who lives in Ohio genuinely relates to your galpha tiktok skibidi memes (vomits hatefully at you) also if you're a minor get the fuck out of here I don't want you here fuck you. Anyway I can't wait to leave, this place sucks- I shit you not there is almost nothing good about California, and that smidgeon of something good is very, VERY slim. (It's probably IT'S ITS, those are nice, I used to live by the factory) If you live somewhere near Ohio and I know you to a fond degree hey we should hang out sometime wowowo-
Project Michael is . . . dubiously going, see I wanted to have a prepared alpha to show off by now but things are rough over here don't worry we'll have something eventually but for now your patience is more than enough. I refuse to hype you up on screenshots and promises alone.
Artwork wise, I am thriving, ever since I found an airbrush I've been tweaking it every so often just to get the right settings on it for soft shading and rendering when it comes to my artwork. Sometimes it's a struggle, but that's mostly because of how "gain" works in drawpile. Drawpile's new client update is fucking miserable actually, it completely reset all of my settings and I had to remake my UI from scratch- but the new animation support is cool, too bad I can no longer open up GIFs with drawpile ha ha ha ha >:K but the airbrush is really carrying itself with all this newer stuff I've made. I've actually got more work to post but I wanted to take a long break just to write down these thoughts and share them publicly with you guys.
Speaking of public, My Discord! You can find me there all the time, be it random voice calls and streams, general topics, where I post art before it goes on here, you name it. Do I have a secret channel where I talk about controversial things? Arguably, sure! At least it's not *cubs* you're never going to see me do that shit, I am 24 years old right now and have a reputation to uphold as the local guy you hang out with just because he's kinda chill like that frfr. Recently (midnight) I updated my steam workshop collection for YOMI Hustle, a game that is the equivalent of Stick Figure Anime Fights and Chess (and its system is patented, too!) and it's a fantastic game for if you just wanna have cool anime fights with friends because it records every move in real time and plays the whole fight as an animation at the end of the match. The amount of cool workshop characters on it drives me insane, hell I just found someone who's now my new main, which is funny because I still main Pyrex but DAMN! this character was made for me.
Oh one last thing, before I leave, a little thank you for taking your time and reading through all of this I appreciate it it means alot to me. This is proof alone that you have the capability of playing Yugioh since you can actually read long paragraphs of text and comprehend them *enough*- as for the rest of your that

But yeah for reading all of this, taking a moment of your time, thank you! For the actual last thing, I'm still working on my MegaMan RPG themed DND system! Really I've already made functional card bases just so I can make everything, so what do I really need now? I need artwork, lots of it. And while I can totally draw everything, making 100 pictures for card assets ontop of making *the card* finalized for playtesting is very exhausting and you can assume I'm not too motivated to make all of them. If you want to help, not only do I appreciate it but I'd even be willing to pay for it if you wanna negotiate something with me up front! (discord) The card art proportions are actually very small, which is a good thing! And I will post the artwork I have made as an example in a bit. Speaking of artwork I'm going to go post more now!

Posted 12 months agoYou know, it needs an additional feature where it just overall removes the blocked user's art from appearing when you search for things. So maybe for once I can enjoy looking up vore and not being spammed with all of those Scat Eating YCHs (you know who you are). Just a thought! Like, it's one thing, you can't see posts by blocked users, simple as. Helps weed out things, basically a blacklist feature that currently does not exist here

So! I got some projects I want to get done this year, mainly because looking back I've made some pretty BANGER ones, but I want to make more longterm ones than just SSVM;RPDGT, NOMTIOS, and so on. So there's Project Michael, but you already know about that one. The real one I'm gonna ask for help on is a DND system that me and a close friend have been working on for about the past 2 or so years. In this system, I've basically created the MegaMan Battle Network / Star Force battle system, but fully functional to Dungeons and Dragons with its own class system, element system, and more as far as character creation goes. What I ask for help with in this is ART for the "runecards", this game's Battlechip/card equivalent. I'm not asking for anyone to fully draw the whole card, just images that fit the cards that I need. And whether or not you want to be paid will be up to what you negotiate with me up front be you decide to help once I put up the google slides list of needed assets. Do I want you to spread the word? no not really... do as you so please! Just know the pay will be low, because the resolution will be low. And I'll be doing every other card that isn't being actively worked on. I'll see you when I put up the help listing later. But this has been an update on how my own shit's been going. As you can see, I don't have anything to say about Project Michael (so sorry!) but I intend to push to get it ready for public fuckery by this year! WHEN? I don't know... but hopefully in time for you to all enjoy the art I will put into it since I plan to make the game really cool and also just have like, a Google forms link for if you want your OC in the game or not... I alone will be doing the art for Project Michael, BY CHOICE.

Posted a year agoI'm doing way better now! YIPPEE YIPPEE YIPPEE, work has been tiring but I'm happy to say that body wise I feel way better. I bought by boyfriend his Christmas gifts, he loved them all! And I couldn't be happier to hear that, and see it too! And I get that last week of the year off so I have plenty of time to put into the big finale and of course the most important part
THE RAFFLE
So a thing I'm doing this year is that on Christmas I will be doing an open raffle on my server for the final 5 entries in cobalion month to close out the year! Christmas will be a prompt of my choosing to draw from all of them remaining, so it's a self indulgent gift sort of deal! (especially since it's Christmas so you better hope it's something I can get into) and then the 5 raffle slots for the next 5 days and we end it with what I title as... "GRAND FINALE SPECIAL" what does that mean? Fuck if I know, but it means something and we'll see it when we get to it! It'll probably be a vore sequence or something special to me... I hope
In the meanwhile, I'm also trying to get some commissions out to celebrate the COBA MONTH spirit! Which means yes, I am looking for people to commission right now and I'd appreciate it if you could recommend me yourself or anybody who is open right now for what you know me for! It's day 3 of Cobalion Month for me, here's a little QnA from me just so you know how I'm doing regarding both the uploads and my health! It also will provide insight on why they may be inconsistent for a bit...
q1. "Why are you a couple hours late on today's upload?"
a1. I have... FOOD POISONING! or a stomach bug, a bit of both. Lately I have been very stressed out, made some bad eating habit food choices, uh oh! Ended up afflicting myself something nasty that's making me shit my guts out every once in a while which gets IN THE WAY of productivity! Do I appreciate it? NO~ I in fact hate when my weekends are shunted because my whole body feels sick and goes "you need to poop NOW." I'll be fine give me like, a day or two.
q2. "Will you be uploading anything not cobalion related during cobalion month?"
a2. Boy howdy I'll try! I want to draw a whole bunch of things, like the failed NNN sequence I wanted to draw for fun where I get too overwhelmed by 6 videogame cats I call "Too Much Pussy" good alternative titles are "Swimming in Pussy", "Pussy Magnet", and "Don't Put Your Body in Crazy". I also am trying to put more work into Project Michael, something I cannot elaborate on yet but those of you in my discord may have figured it out by now. And of course, drawing self indulgent pieces and finishing commissions too! I'm currently doing this cool 3 pc set for someone with a badass metal golem dragon OC I'm going nuts over but I got sick midway through drawing them, wish me luck on finishing it with my current situation (a1)!

a3. Oh yes absolutely, I upload on Bluesky and Mastodon under my current preferred moniker: SOJITZL. I no longer upload any of my work to Twitter because they are fucking awful, and I hate it there! So instead I use it for horny posting which tbh isn't any different from me right now so...

If you know me, I don't like to rest, I wanna keep going. No I will not be doing Cobalion YEAR fuck off of that no way. Rather I want to expand my mediums, I grow ever envious of the skillsets of other artists around me, I wanna Animate, I wanna Make Games, I WANNA MAKE FUCKIN COOL SHIT--JUST AS IF NOT COOLER THAN ME TODAY.
That's a whole new journey for me, and I'm more than glad you took the time to read this for yourself. I hope to continue entertaining every one of you in my audience every passing year, and I'm glad I can make a comeback as serious as this one... Posted 2 years agoNot a fan of locking files deets behild paywall period, but that probably shouldn't be that big a problem for me I like to use small pngs with transparent backgrounds. Right? This shouldn't affect a guy like me whose average filesize is around A megabyte.
