Exploring the void.
Posted 11 years agoFeel awesome today. Got some field recordings done for my blackened noise project. Also did some percussion too with metal rods. Very Throbbing Gristle and SPK like. Making my stuff creepy. Though I need to buy a better effects pad. My Korg Kaos pad doesn't hook up to my TASCAM portable audio player. The Kaos pad only has midi line out and midi line it. Mainly to use with DJ equipment or a Fast Track Pro box with Pro Tools. Unfortunately I need to get a computer build for studio production instead of gaming. With my current computer it was hell to get pro tools on it and then was a disaster when I found out I need two hard drives to even save anything I record on pro-tools. Guess I'll have Geek Squad eventually help me out.
The Metatronic Conspirator speaks
Posted 12 years agoJust put some of my blackened noise /drone on Bandcamp. Search for Demiurge 777 or Shambling to find my stuff. Totally happy to finally publish my music. Also gave some demos to John Baizley of Baroness when I saw them live.
Writing music can be rough.
Posted 12 years agoBeen writing several songs with my Casio WK-500, mainly blackened drone/noise stuff. The latest song I've been trying to write has been rough to get the tones right. My sound is more of an electronic version of Sunn O))), Horseback, and enfluenced by Locrian, Stalaggh, and Silencer (vocals wise).
Finally back on furraffinity.
Posted 13 years agoI've been so busy for the last two months that I totally forgot about furaffinity. So I'm back on here. Been getting into the new 52 stuff from DC comics. Love Red Lanterns and Wild Western Tales. Jonah Hex being in Gotham city is awesome. Also Jim Lee's work on Justice league is stunning. I haven't checked out Rob Liefield's return to Hawk and Dove. I saw the covers and still though man he just can't draw body proportions right. When I was younger I though he was all the rage with New Mutants and X-Force. Then I went stupid in my teens and got into Image comics. Now days when I see his stuff all his characters look like they are on steroids and had multiple plastic surgery. Every character looks the same too. Come on man not everyone is hugely ripped and not every woman has huge boobs and are a size 0. I good artist is someone that can draw variety and know the difference in drawing obese characters and over weight characters.
Helping the needy and being nerdy
Posted 13 years agoOne of my co-workers at Labcorp brought in a list of children for Sojourner's who wanted presents. Many of these children are orphans. I decided to help one have a great Christmas. She asked for a mp3 player and journal. So I go her a journal, mp3 player, and a few extra items. I basically bought her some music to put on her player when she uses the computer lab's computer at the agency. I bought her the new Lady Gaga, Twilight: Eclipse, and Twilight: Breaking Dawn part 1 soundtracks, and a Norse punk band called Kveletark. She's 13 so I decided to get her a variety.
As for being nerdy I bought the new Dungeons and Dragons Legends of Drizzt board game. Now I just have to wait to get it in the mail. I love board games especially role playing that doesn't require much role playing. I'm into the miniature type games like Space Hulk and Warhammer 40K. Not much into the table top stuff like Vampire, traditional AD&D, and Call of Cthulhu (though I might try that game one day).
Oh I had another successful day weight lifting. I love my trainer. She kicks my ass but I always feel healthier (and sore) after wards. I dropped from 240 to 226. I hope to get down to 215 by the end of Dec. My goal is to reach 170lbs.

Waiting to pay for comission.
Posted 13 years agoGrrr my stupid paycheck is taking forever to show in my bank. Usually it shows at midnight (I have direct deposit) and is in there by now (thurs). I guess they are being slow to process it. I hope the artist is patient I don't want her to feel that I am trying to rip her off. Stupid Labcorp. I guess it's the price I pay to work as a professional in the medical field.
Kicking ass and taking names.
Posted 13 years agoDropped another 2lbs from intense weight lifting and cardio in the past three days. My trainer rules too. She got 5th place in a body building competition. My goal is to reach 170lbs or reduce my body fat index since body building will add muscle weight too. Today will be mainly cardio, with some abs work, and some hack squats.
No Subject
Posted 13 years agoTime to weight lift til I puke. High protein diet, low carbs, no fruits, and feeling massively sore in the morning is a daily torture for me but it beats getting diabetes and heart disease. Hopefully I will reach my goal of getting back to 180 or reducing my BMI to normal or just a little above normal by the end of the year.
Needing an avatar
Posted 13 years agoI need an avatar. I can't draw furries good enough. I'm more on the surreal H.R. Giger/Stephen Kasner side of things when it comes to painting and drawing.
Back to the canvas
Posted 14 years agoSince it's spring now I can work on some of my oil paintings and pastel drawings of H.P. Lovecraft inspired creatures.
