Get information about your Beats
If you need information about your Beats—including the model name, serial number, and firmware version—you can look in Settings on your iPhone or iPad, in System Settings on your Mac, or in the Beats app on an Android device.
Once your Beats settings are displayed, you can customize press-and-hold or end-call actions, turn off automatic ear detection, rename your device, and more. See Customize controls on your Beats.
Before you begin, make sure your Beats are connected to your Apple or Android device. On an Android device, make sure you’ve installed the Beats app.
iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings
on your iPhone or iPad, then tap the name of your Beats at the top of the screen.
Mac: Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, then click the name of your Beats in the sidebar.To customize your settings, click the [device name] Settings button.
Android device: Go to the Beats app
, tap , then tap My Beats to display your connected device’s screen.For Beats Fit Pro, Powerbeats Pro 2, Beats Solo Buds, or Beats Studio Buds +, the displayed serial number is specific to the charging case. Tap the serial number to display the serial number specific to the left earbud; tap again to display the serial number specific to the right earbud.
Tip: You can also find your serial number on your Beats device.
