Shadows & Spades

Shadows & Spades is a unique SRD providing an influence and intrigue centered TTRPG experience. Designed with intentionality for intrigue and world influence games. Explore a whole new combination of competitive play and collaborative storytelling! Players portray their individual Factions & Figureheads while cooperatively building the world. 

Uses a combination of a card game challenge round [the "Spades" in Shadows & Spaces] to earn tokens and spending those tokens to manipulate & influence the world [the "Shadows" of Shadows & Spades]. The SRD comes with a complete "almost ready to place" model system described, including full sets of detailed example moves and a simple debts/favors system exploitable for intrigue and social/political conflict.

Adaptable across any scale, from small street level politics to world-spanning secret masters or gods. Easily reskinned and re-flavored for a variety of backroom politics, project races, world influence, and hidden intrigue concepts. Explore the possibilities!
