Desert Golfing

It delivers what it promises... update 3/16/25 10000 total holes. the physics seemed weird at times when i watch the ball stop on impossible angles. but it's whatever. played for 6 months on and off, then it just... ends. all you have is to hit the ball into the water. done. feels like a metaphor for life.

Great fun! The perfect game: very simple to play, but practice pays off in better scores; you can open it/close it at will and just pick up where you left off. I've just finished all 10,000 holes, and was able to start over by clearing the app's storage cache on Android (1. Long press on the app icon and choose App info 2. Choose Storage & cache 3. Choose Clear storage ); but I've also loaded the similar game by the same creator, Golf on Mars, and it's great too, although a bit more complex.

I'm giving this a 3 for one reason: It's nearly impossible to backup your save or move it to a new phone. PLEASE add an import/export, or cloud-sync feature. PLEASE. I'm on hole 7691. I've made over 23,000 shots in the game. I don't want to lose it but this is the single app on my phone that I can't backup. Doesn't Google Play Games integration give super easy cloud save support? It probably wouldn't even be that hard to add into the game.
